But at the weekend I found a lovely pair that fitted (with a thick pair of socks!) and I had just sold some broken jewellery, so they were free :money:. (Well actually they were £99  but free sounds better
)
Oh god yes I had forgotten about the other end of the scale.
For me there is nothing worse than people wearing boots that don't fit and that flap as they walk. Grrrr
Glad you have got some free boots, why do boots which fit us all cost loads of money?
Years ago when black slouch boots were in, I went to a shoe shop and could not do them up so had to go to the expensive shop so while my friends paid £10 for their boots I had to pay £40 :eek:0 -
Morning, sorry to hear you are feeling under the weather
After lots of half eaten salad bags got binned or added to soups - before blending - stir fries or chili (shred it fine & chuck it in! Bit of brown okay as will sort of dissolve into hot food), I found the baby leaf salad from @sda seems to keep longer than all the others. It's £1 a bag but rarely has to be disposed of before I finish it.
Enjoy your 4 day week, hope you feel better soonMortgage free as of 11/11/15 !
:Anow... to start some serious saving :A

Ipsos - 725 points (1380 needed to redeem, still waiting for Amazon voucher)
Mysurvey - 120 points (550 needed for £5 Amazon) Waiting for final survey in series of three which will net me 1500 points to reward me for not smashing the laptop in boredom
Finally finished the Surveys From Hell and got my 1500 points. I've requested a £10 Amazon voucher and only need 30 points for my next £5 voucher.
Knackered today - I woke up at half five and have done 2.5 hours of overtime today  Tomorrow I'm up at half five again then off to Leeds for work (7am train...gah!) until Thursday. I'm going to be racking up the overtime but too tired to spend it :rotfl:
Must dash - going to watch the end of the Great British Bake-Off then have to pack my bags for my trip to Englandshire

Spending diary
Knew I forgot about something...!
Post Office - £3.41 posting Ebay/FB sales
Cups of tea - £2.75 (three in total)
Tea spending cannot be allowed to continue like this, but I hadn't had enough sleep today and needed to stay awake. There's only so much free swill from the vending machines I can cope with. Tomorrow I will do better. Honest

Sometimes needs must! Are you someone that can catch a few zzzzzz whilst on the train?
My guilty pleasure was buying craft things today. I did spend some quality time making cards with my eldest though, so i refuse to feel guiltyOne step at a time0 -
