    Morning folks :D

£9 received in travel expenses this morning so have thrown this into the ISA as my payment for today. I've also cleared off the credit card with the rent money (car insurance now sorted until the end of March) and although I have £140 leftover I'm not paying it off anything as I have written a cheque for some repairs to the gutters and this will nicely cover that without me having to dip into my savings :D

    Surveys

    Mysurvey - 295 points (550 for £5 Amazon)
    Onepoll - £9 (100 years until redeem...!)
    Ipsos - 1305 points (1380 till £10 Amazon)
Valued opinions uk - £7.75 with £3 pending (Can redeem for Amazon once I hit £10)
    Toluna - 53,524 (80,000 for £15 Amazon)
    Maximiles - 2058 points (8400 needed for £30 Amazon - could take a while!)
    Swagbucks - 424 (849 to redeem £5 Amazon)

    Amazon balance - £33.69

    Money

Purse has about £15 in it at the moment
    PAD/Spends - £81
    Entertainment - £40.95
    Groceries - £75.91

So, it's all looking quite good at the moment, although the groceries budget will be tight. I'm going to run now as if I eat my toast really quickly I can be in the office for eight this morning and leave at four again :D

    Happy Hump Day everyone ;)

  • Happy hump day to you too!

We are with ipsos but I've been leaving them to concentrate on getting the toluna payout, which as soon as the open surveys close I'll get it. Does Ipsos add up quickly?

I'm on an Amazon mission at the moment :money:

Well done F_F on paying the cc off and having enough left from the rent to cover the roof (so to speak :D)

A nice tidy £9 for the ISA marvellous;)

I hope you had a happy hump day too. :D

I am about £9,000 off a Debenhams voucher from Toluna  £140,000 required.

Have a good day tomorrow chick ;)

Me too!! I'm using the idea of a Kindle to spur me on, but will probably use the money in my account for Christmas presents for folk to be honest, just to save some cash. I have £107 in my Christmas fund, and put in £30 per month which means there will be another £120 added before Christmas. I have some presents bought for people, but one of the activities for this weekend is to check my stash so that I know what I have and who I still have to buy for. I did buy presents for my nephew in the Tesco sale this week - should have been £20 but cost me £8 so very pleased with that :D

Ipsos seem to build up quite quickly if you qualify for their surveys. I have been with them since the 29th of June and am one survey away from a £10 Amazon voucher, and that's not even been one survey a day. Toluna is the bane of my life because it takes so long! I need to spend more time on there but there hasn't been enough spare time this week at all. I'm already at 480SB with Swagbucks, so they seem to be the best source for me at the moment. If you qualify for their surveys that really helps, and it's worth checking a couple of times a day too as they're an American site so their surveys don't come online until later in the day.

It was Fat Club last night and another 1lb has dropped off which I'm happy with given my eating/exercising habits last week weren't the greatest :D

I've sold some more things on the Facebook group, and have a balance in my Paypal account of £33. Only thing is that someone is offering a daylight lamp there for £30 which is an ok price, and is something I've been after for ages as there is no natural light in the part of the house I craft in. Should I give in to temptation or withdraw the money and be good?!

  • I think I'll head over to Ipsos now, must remember to keep checking the one Lightspeed joined up with as thats about half way to an Amazon voucher. Just waiting for the Toluna one to clear then I'll be over the 80K!

I tried a few surveys on SB on Tuesday but got screened out. Just got to be careful that the surveys dont intrude into work time as I work from home alot and that is very tempting!

£1 sent to the mortgage OP account this morning. I think that my PADs are going to be allocated thusly from now on:

    1 day - mortgage
    1 day - handbag fund :D
5 days - building up ISA to repay loan early

    I have also:

    • put dinner in the slow cooker
    • emptied all the bins
    • put a washing on
    • tidied up the living room
Mama and Papa Fresian arrive tonight for a weekend visit and although they don't stay with me they do enjoy criticising the state of my house. I have done what I have time for and the rest will be a mad dash after work :D

Went to Morrisons this lunchtime for brocolli and bananas and spent £7.77  £3.40 of that was on reduced item though which are helpful for the freezer and which will mean that I have quick dinners to make if I forget to take something out of the freezer. The rest was fresh fruit and veg, so not bad healthwise but a pain in the bum money wise...

Anyone got any words of wisdom yet about my crafting lamp dilemma as mentioned this morning?!

I think that if its something you are planning to get in the near future and its something you will regret if you dont get it now i would go for it whilst you have money in your paypal.Taking it out of paypal always seems better than taking it out of the bank.:D

That didn't really work out as planned to be honest. We ended up going for a drive so that Mr Fresian could test out Fred's capabilities - turns out that Fred beeps if you go past 80mph to remind you of the speed limit :D
    ....

I just need to resist all the lovely things people are selling....!

Does he keep beeping if you stay above 80?! Not that I ever go that fast and stay there for the entire time I'm on a motorway if any policemen are reading :rotfl:

Well from quote 1 I should be encouraging you to stay strong but it is kind of free money and you could view it as recycling your stash rather than new spending? Plus the nights are drawing in and you need to keep yourself happy with the crafting!
