    Hi FF,

Have just subsribed to your diary and am really enjoying it! Up to page 6 so far...
Whereabouts in Scotland do you live? I went there for 10 days last year and we drove round loads and loads of places. I loved it there, it was just so beautiful, I now tell everybody that you don't what the colour green really looks like until you go to Scotland!

    :T
I live in Edinburgh at the moment but am originally from the Highlands so am entirely biased about that being the most beautiful place in the UK (if not beyond ;))

    How's the lovely Fred?
Fred is awesome although I had a moment yesterday after spending nearly ten hours at work and coming out to a dark wet night - I hadn't had to use the wipers or lights until then :rotfl::rotfl: I figured it out though and he got me home safely :)

    Thank Crunchie it's Friday :D

Today I'm heading in to work for 8am as while they're offering overtime I'm grabbing it with both hands. That will be four hours this week, to add to another three I did recently. It's not a lot, but it does help, especially as we get all overtime at time and a half.

I logged on to Toluna this morning to find that my balance has increased by 9000 points but it doesn't tell me why. Hopefully it's not an error. I'm waiting on quite a few points for full-length surveys so I'm hoping that's the start of them. No other site is near payout yet, but I'm working on it.

I made a payment to what was formerly the Handbag of Wonder fund, which will bring it up to about £15. I don't know what I'll use the money for now, but will save weekly and treat myself at some point. I was going to go to the big crafting show at the SECC again in October, but have no pennies saved (normally I would just blow the flatmate's rent money on it :rotfl:) so might use this money to go in March instead.

I have £41.84 in my mortgage overpayments account, which is more than I thought was there. I'm still saving small change to make overpayments with and will also be paying into this account at least once a week, so I can keep making small steps to reducing the mortgage.

I think I might have missed a bit. I knew you had the HoW fund but I don't remember you using it. Did you get a bag or did you use it for something else? Sorry, my blonde side coming out again :D

    Nope, no bag here :(

I withdrew all the funds that were in there as part of the payment for Fred The Fiat. I think he's better than a handbag anyway!

You could start the handbag fund up again, and then you'd have the bag and the car! :D

Oh yes, unless you were a tissue or a purse you couldn't get to work in a handbag :rotfl:

    Morning all :D

Hope everyone is full of the joys of the weekend!

    Pennies

    PAD/Spends - £97.64
    Purse - £25
    Entertainment - £40.95
    Groceries - £109.38
    VSP (Handbag fund) - £15.96
    ISA - £1000

I also have £117 set aside for Christmas/birthdays, although quite a few presents have already been bought. Mr Fresian is normally where I spend the most money, but I could use some of my Amazon vouchers and buy him some games. I have £300 saved up already for car expenses (I had been putting away £50 per month to deal with MOT expenses for Scraps) I'll keep paying into this every month and that will cover insurance next year and the next service on Fred. I've had a bill through for some minor repairs to our roof, which is £132 and will pay for this with the final rent payment I get from Mr F's sister.

This morning I have done a wee bit of moneysaving already. I have bought a voucher for a haircut which cost me £19 (instead of £50) I went through Quidco which will net me 15% cashback, around £2.85, and because I used a promocode I have been credited with £15 cash on the deals site which I can use on my next purchase. Very pleased with that :D

Last night I had a very MSE night out as I went out for dinner with a friend I haven't seen for a really long time. We went to Bella Italia and I brought along some Tesco vouchers to put towards our food. She was so chuffed with that she paid for our drinks, so it was a free night out :D

I need to try and list some things on Ebay this weekend as it's free listing again. I have a number of crafting bits (as always!!) that I want rid of. If they don't sell this time I'm going to have to charity shop them as I need the space in my house!!

Hope everyone has nice plans for the weekend :)
