I had my tuna steaks and they were delicious :) It's been a yummy food day as I ran out of lunch stuff so bought myself a fajita wrap from M&S. I resisted the usual temptation of the cake section too, so deserve :A

I got some good post today too - my mum's Christmas present :rotfl: There was an offer in the Daily Mail a while back to collect tokens then pay £30 for a full-sized Royal Doulton figurine. I don't read the Mail (I prefer my news with less moral indignation) but a very kind MSE-er does and collected the tokens for me. It arrived today and it's lovely. Mama Fresian is going to be thrilled when she gets it :D

    Money-making schemes stand thusly:

OnePoll will payout just before I retire ;)
Mysurvey - one decent-sized survey away from Amazon voucher
Swagbucks - 553SB (849 needed for Amazon voucher)
Toluna (God help me, I rejoined....) 23,714 (80,000 needed for Amazon voucher)
Ebay - 2 watchers, no bidders so far for my dress

Thank Crunchie it's Friday tomorrow. I'm looking forward to the weekend like you wouldn't believe!!

Have fun this weekend Footiemad :)

I've received an email from Quidco saying that I'm going to receive £5.86 in cashback from them, so that should be with me early next week. My rent money is due this weekend too, which will pay off the dratted credit card and take me over my savings target :D

I've been a little naughty and bought a new necklace this morning from my favourite website. I did use a 25% off code and the spare change in my Paypal though - normally the necklace would have been £13.50+£3.50 postage but I ended up paying £9.76, so I'm calling that an MSE purchase :money::A

I've paid £6.17 into the Handbag of Wonder fund, and have received £1.63 in interest on the money so I'm not far away from £500 there, which is amazing given that I only began saving at the start of the year :j

I've done my usual busy morning routine, so there's washing on, the dishes are done and all the bins are emptied. I plan to have a nice lazy evening to compensate :D

    Enjoy your Friday everyone!

    Good morning all :)

It's a lovely sunny day here in Fresian Towers, and I'm hoping to head out and about soon to enjoy the sunshine - once I've hung some washing outside of course ;)

My "lazy" night last night didn't materialise as I ended up doing loads of bits and pieces in the house including cleaning the bathroom and stripping the beds. I don't know what was wrong with me! I had quite an early night though and slept really well, so it obviously did me some good.

I've made a £15 payment into my ISA today as I received the money from my Reward accounts. I've done my daily SB clicks and checked my survey sites but there's not much there. I'm just about to make another coffee then try some Tolunaing.

Good news - I bought jeans yesterday from River Island in my usual size. I love them, but they have to go back as they're too big :D:D:D

    hurrah to too-big jeans!
i have just had to buy another new pair, 2 sizes smaller than what i was wearing in feb. :)
my top tip - avoid buying any clothes unless totally necessary, as they won't fit you for long - your WW sounds like it's going well and you're motivated to continue. i've tried to buy about 2-3 outfits in each new size so that i have something that fits me and i feel nice, but i'm mindful that i'm still not where i want to be so there's no point re-filling my wardrobe just yet.
    have a lovely weekend!
Mortgage free as of 11/11/15 !
