Hi all
Just doing a major catch-up with events.... yet again!!
Marie Oh no, poor little lad; I hope it's ok that I've had a quiet word with an appropriate deity (as you know I'm a Pagan) for protection and healing for him.
Beemuzed *sigh* Men are stubborn wotnots! Hope DH isn't too uncomfortable. I don't know a vast amount about human biology (I used to faint during lessons at school as I'm mega-squeamish) but anything broken sounds not so good.
Took Sidney out for his morning perambulation, and we got about halfway round the circuit and the sky opened! He was ever so good about being toweled down when we got home though; he's had some food, and is now snoozing in front of the sofa.
I've been informed that "A" is visiting us on Thursday evening, so I guess I'll be making cheese straws (aka "A"-food) on Wednesday or Thursday. *rolleyes*
Molly please give your two wooflets a cuddle for me. No particular reason, I just felt like it!:DIf your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0 -
meanmarie my prayers for the family.
Raining here again today. Grrrrr. Must put a wash on though as the bin is overflowing.
Our printer appears to have packed up. Just when I need to print off paperwork. Will get DH to have a look tonight - I am so not technically minded.
Soggy dog is lying at the bottom of the stairs. He wants to go out again already.GC Mar 13 £47.36/£1500 -
DH was sent for an X-ray at out little local hospital - no waiting! Needs to ring the surgery for the result later today. Probably has a broken sternum - but no treatment I think apart from painkillers anyway. Stubborn man - why wouldn't he go last week???
Because he's a stubborn man :rotfl: Glad it's nothing too serious xxbargainbird wrote: »Bitsy - Have you the reciepe for the fishcakes ???? or are they the cardinal sin of being shop bought

It's nothing fancy just spuds grated, tinned tuna, peppers diced all bound together with egg and cooked in frying pan.I have a gift for enraging people, but if I ever bore you it'll be with a knifeLouise Brooks

And I hope you sent them off with a suitable flea in their ear. Perhaps a timely email to the moderators so they can send a post out explaining the etiquette of Freecycle.
