    Morning All

beemuzed I am glad to see that DH has seen some sense and I hope he gets on at the Doctors x

Marie I didn't say anything about the speeding fine last night because of your sad post and it wouldn't have been appropriate. I hope the boys are not ribbing you too much.

Still damp, cool and miserable here but we need the rain so it is catch 22.

Going over to Hemel today when DH gets back from his shift. I want to start looking for Christmas pressies because the sales are just starting. I already have most of DD's and some of DH's it is DS who is stumping me. I also want to get a Fathers Day pressie for FIL ( I already have something for DH)

    Happy birthday jannyannies son :bdaycake:

    well must get on
    Have good days all x

Marie- your friend's wee one is in my thoughts, what a terrible situation for them.
So far, have done 2xWM but will be drying inside. Am just about to explore the ironing, which is currently a mountain range due to the holiday clothes! Am going to start the ironing and packing today, as am working 4 long days this week and will need to start emptying the kitchen and bathroom of all non essential gibble next week ready for the new ones. The gas fitter phoned yesterday, and he is going to move the central heating boiler next weekend, thank goodness I am working! Not looking forward to the chaos, but will be worth it in the end!

    Morning all

    Didn't stop raining yesterday.
As I was cooking a big roast, I also made sausage rolls & melting moments whilst in the kitchen, they have all been eaten already.
I make Jamie Olivers massive Yorshire Puddings and they do come out huge. Got a nice bit of beef left for lunches from the roast.
I went for a bath about 8pm and asked DH to put the breadmaker on the timer for morning - first time we have attempted the timer - got out the bath and he said he couldn't work out how it worked so he just switched it on, had to stay up then to midnight to see the bread finished lol - it's still such a novelty to us at the mo.

Cottage Pie out the freezer for tonight and need to shop for my weekly meal planner today.

    Morning my lovelies :D

Sunny intervals today so why does it look like it's going to chuck it down?! Heading off to Sainsbugs after taken DD to pre school. Was originally going to Aldi and then Mr S but TBH I am tired after early wake up call from DS and I CBA :o I don't really need a great deal from Aldi and at the end of the day it will only save me pennies which will be negated in the extra petrol driving to and from the two stores.
Other plans include housework, having a cuppa with my mum at some point and general tidying round. Would like to make a start on a bag for my mum (the same as the one I made for myself).
Tuna and pepper fishcakes for tea.

meanmarie - I am so sorry to hear about your friends little one :( thinking of the family and sending lots of healing vibes in the hope that he can make it through this xxx

beemuzed - glad H has seen sense. Wouldn't be suprised if he's not broken a couple of ribs or something xx

Hugs and spoons all round. Time to head off for the school run number 2.

Have a great day OS or not.

Bit damp here today but better forcast for tomorrow's weather.

DS has gone on holiday with the Gf and her family-rather swish penthouse flat in St Ives. We will be eating all the meals that he doesn't like this week. Liver tonight!

    Have a good day all.

    Morning all.
MeanMarie thats so awful about the little boy. Lots of love to the family.
HH lets hope for decent weather on Saturday.
Beemuzed I'm glad your dh is going to the doctors. I don't know where my money goes. Well I do, groceries have become hidiously expensive.
JackieO we have a diesel with rear parking sensors. I love the sensors although I have to use some common sense as they go nuts when I'm about 2 foot away from where I actually want to park!
JannieAnnie Times does fly with children! Happy Birthday to your ds x
ButerflyBrain I need to start thinking about christmas as well!

Sorry, can't think what anyone else said.
Still wet here. Have done the towels & they've just finished so need to get them hung up. I also have 2 more loads of washing but don't think I can gt them dry today. Shouldn't complain, we really need the rain here.

    Have toddler goup this morning.

Hopefully the application forms will arrive today so I can get my DS1 school changed from September.

Tonights dinner if left over chicken for the meat eaters. I'll have bubble & squeak. YUM!

Right, had better get those towels hung up & deal with whiney toddler.

    Love (((hugs))) & spoons

    Morning all

I didn't go to work :D I stayed up later than normal last night cos I was so hyped up by the F1 (got to bed about midnight, which is v late for me!). So thought sod it I'll have a day off!

I'm going to do a bit of work for one of my qualifications this morning, then go out to the local shopping centre via the tip this afternoon. I have 4 bags of clothes/shoes to go in the clothes bank, plus my normal recycling to do. It's still mildly damp out today, not quite raining yet though.

OS wise - BM went on overnight need to slice and freeze it, DW will go on later, will make the soup I didn't make yesterday as I've defrosted the carrots already, need to pop to Lidl to get some fresh salady bits and fruit. WM may go on later too.

    Have a good day all

DH was sent for an X-ray at out little local hospital - no waiting! Needs to ring the surgery for the result later today. Probably has a broken sternum - but no treatment I think apart from painkillers anyway. Stubborn man - why wouldn't he go last week???

    Morning all,

Rained all day yesterday, did not stop for a second, the dog ran out in the garden for a wee, and refused to go out for any longer :rotfl:, so the front door did not even get opened, we had a real lazy day, which was really nice.:rotfl:

OH has taken the day off today, he is still full of cold, and thought a day off may help him get over it. He is still in bed, will let him stay there for a while.

Shopping to do today, and a clean through, wanted to get out in the garden, but will see what the weather does,

MM that poor family and little lad, must be heart breaking xxxx

Halight, thanks for asking aout my dad, he is doing OK at the moment, driving mum mad :rotfl:which is quite normal.

    Have good days all xxx
