  • So my afternoon was spent with a very swollen ankle in a drop in centre, then sent to A&E, to be told to go home and rest it. Grrrrr. Why couldn't the drop in centre have said that?! 'Your ankle could be broken, so we're gonna send you to A&E, and they're going to say that your ankle could be broken too but tough, you're not in enough pain to warrant an x-ray.' Hmph.

So not done much packing today, and I've only got about 13.5 hours til I leave, and I'm knackered. I'll do it somehow...
  • I'm in again this week. Good luck all. New washing machine arriving Monday too - what a domestic goddess I shall be!

before i go to bed, i just wanted to say woohoo!!! I have just finished my first xmas pre!ssie of the year! bedsocks for my lovely mammy! they were surprisingly easy to do so i might just do some for my MIL. I think first though I may have to make some for my dad, as he works nights and can get really cold feet during the day so have to look for some nice dark colour for him.

will do flying tomorrow .. promise!

    Thank you FCC

I'm in but off list tomorrow. My priority is clearing my ironing pile tomorrow  I've had an increase in the number of moths in the livingroom again so I'm hoping that clearing the ironing pile will keep their numbers down. I'll also declutter some films from the freeview while I'm at it. The majority of them aren't suitable to watch with DD around, and since it was half-term at the start of the month I have a back log :rotfl:

Will also be writing my own list, but will be keeping that on paper as its mainly dailies and a couple of frogs ;)

    Catch you later

Hello. Just a quickie before bed.

Am in again now after our holiday. House is not looking too bad but still have some unpacking to do and loads of washing. Not helped by the weather!

Not sure what the frog list is all about, though know what the frogs are. will have to check back in the last two threads.
  • Right lets try and join in again this week...........!!!!!!

  • Oh crap. I have to replace one of the aquarium fish already. I shall be having words with the staff to find out what went wrong.

    Morning All

Froddy - hope you feel better soon.

Frittered - try and rest your ankle as much as you can.

Need to iron uniforms as I didn't do any ironing over the weekend although I did plenty of washing. Beavers tonight but hopefully I will manage to get a few jobs done. DS's hospital appt is in the morning and he's already saying he's not going so that could be fun.

    Have a good day all

    Hugs
