    Hi all.

In between seeing to Sidney and spending all morning baking, I've only just picked up today's list; thankfully, a lot of it is already done!
Wednesday - Master bedroom & landing
    Level One
Strip and wash sheets Done Saturday (as always)
Vacuum and turn mattress before replacing clean sheets Done Saturday (as always)
    Level Two
15 minutes floordrobe clearance No floordrobe here!
    Wash windows Not needed
Vacuum floors Done by Mr LW
    Level Three
    Dust and deweb
    Wipe paintwork
Sort through a cupboard.. make it neat and tidy and get rid of what you no longer wear/need/use WIP – Giant Clothes Frog! Everything's been tried on now; I just have to work out how best to arrange the storage to make best use of the space available.

    Extras

    1. Sort through a box of junk fom the landing N/A; no landing, and no boxes of junk elsewhere either.
    2. Binbag dance
    3. Collect all the dirty laundry from upstairs! 'Tis all in the laundry bin – except what I washed this morning, which is on the A-frame over the bath.
    4. HHI N/A – none to do!

Had some bad news, too - Sidney's owner has had a stroke, and is in hospital abroad.:( I've had the dog-sitting company's agent on the phone, to see if I can keep Sid for any extra time (he should've been going home this Saturday); I've said it's fine til Monday, but I have to be out most of Tuesday (Mr LW has the day off as it's Summer Solstice); we're preparing for our own holiday, including organising a supply of our meds, and everything else; we actually go away on Friday 24th. So hopefully she can get something in place for the little guy; she's in contact with the owner's daughter, so I'll just have to wait to hear. I feel so guilty saying I can only have him til Monday, too - silly, I suppose.:o

Also, Sid's food is a prescription diet, only available from the Vet; they sent enough for an extra 2 days "just in case", after that we'll need some more supplied, so that needs to be sorted, too. Thankfully there seems to be a goodly supply of his insulin in the bottle.:o
If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)

Have calmed down somewhat ... I phoned the number I was given by the council ... spoke to a lovely woman who has taken all the details, thinks it shouldn't be a problem getting a sticker for the 2nd bin ... she's going to speak to the guy in charge and get him to phone me back ... probly tomorrow but better than nothing ... fingers crossed I can get the sticker for this week's collection as the 2nd bin is almost full!!!! (it doesn't go out every week anyway but better to have the official permission just in case).

WM on again. DW needs to go on again. De-fluffed DR,LR and Hall and mopped Kitchen floor.

Furry beast having his afternoon bark-fest with the next door dog. (They ignore each other when you take them walking together but woe betide if one of them goes for a walk while the other is in the house - noise noise noise)

We went to see the Ayrton Senna documentary at the cinema so I have decluttered a couple of tissues:o

However, I came home to this
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vjgV0aACAMc
which is not office or small children friendly but is really quite funny whether you are or aren't a parent;)

Dunno how much flying I will manage today as I'm feeling a bit queasy, hope to feel a bit better soon:(

A lot of the particularly nasty posts have been deleted, as has the specific abuse thread, but I am annoyed to see the person concerned hasn't been PPR'd for it.

I havent commented much about your daughter as your complaints sound like you could be my Mum when I was at school. Its funny reading things for my mums point of view - and sometimes I think, god I wish my Mum has seen it like that!

I did what Minion did; worked on time, showed up on time, made the effort and kept myself in the right all the time etc etc - but if I was right and I knew it, I would say so and refused to be held in detention etc for pointing our errors/flaws in Teachers research... Everyone is human including teachers, and mistakes happen but she was right to stand up for herself. Positions of power shouldnt be abused, and discipline shouldnt be administered to cover a mistake/flaw! She was right to stand up for herself! Im sure youll agree, with age you learn how to say things in a different manner - she perhaps could have been more subtle in her approach to the Teacher which would have avoided the public backdown, as I know your worried about what lessons thats taught her, but maybe thats a lesson in itself that will be valuable to her. She made her point, she made it well and she kept the upperhand -one day Im sure she will manage other people with those skills.

And ultimately, thats what it is - a skill - and one that is difficult to teach!

Good for her I say ;)

That thread is disgusting as it is - Im glad I didnt read the other posts... Poor Natty - I hope shes ok. Hope you feel better soon.

    List searching...

    xx
