fairly good odds at mine.. 5 dr's and 2 are women.. though there were 15,000 patients on the books last time they told me a few years ago.
 no wonder it's difficult to get seen. At my university one there's half a GP (he only comes in the afternoon) and half a nurse (mornings) for about 1000 people.surprisingly easy to get appointments though, I was impressed. Lovely receptionist too
I spent so much time in and out of there that I got to know them
it's not been a good 9 months for me health-wise...
Still, I'll be moving GP in July. Any tips for picking a new one?I'm thinking to choose one that doesn't have the 8am bunfight

If you have a spare £400 hanging around then go for it. I just wish I'd done it 3 months ago0 -
Chimney swept yesterday, boiler serviced today. Windows being cleaned (outside) as we speak. Am I the only person who finds it odd that not only does the window cleaner never let anyone know when he's turning up, but when he gets here, he doesn't bother to knock... Is he trying to catch people out? He also parks in the drive, so clearly doesn't realise that his unannounced visits might be a time when we want to go out (sometimes he even eats his lunch there). I'm too lazy to find another window cleaner at the moment, but this one seriously winds me up.
Ours does exactly the same. I've even come home from work to find him sitting on the patio having his flask! Cheeky monkey...How long would you get for burning down a house and killing all the occupants????
It doesn't matter how long you get prison is AWFUL. Some very scary people in there.....Yesterday is history
Tomorrow is a mystery

Afternoon.
No energy today. Woke at 7.45, went to loo, then back to bed. DS2 came and said goodbye. (I vaguely recall) OH brought me a cuppa at 9.45 (I vaguely recall) Finally woke at 10.45....Ooops.
Been in and out the bathroom, which I cleaned whilst at it
Have managed to do bits in the bedroom but with lots of resting. Stomach really hurts and OH wants dinner so I'd better go find some food.

Thanks PepPop - although I need to remind myself to Fly first, as it's sooo tempting to knit. And yes, I do have a dream job! Do you design? If so, drop me a pm and we can chat (trying not to thread-jack!)
Tried to fly, attempted to clean bathroom, but boiler is knackered! I's a gas one, and as soon as I run the hotwater, the 'lockout' light comes on and all I get is cold water. So, am boiling kettle to get it done. Grrrr. Still, the thigh workout fromrunningup & down stairs will be a bonus!:A FLY FIRST, KNIT LATER :A0
