  • another vote for Minion here Jojo! I wouldn't necessarily be displeased that the teacher backed down ....... because Minion is in the right and the teacher is in the wrong (and she knows it!) I doubt the teacher would have succeeded in putting her on report card - there would have been too many raised eyebrows in the staffroom/corridors of power.

Yeah, you're right...and it's better than her being a meek little mouse. But they have no idea what monster they are creating...

I can't find the thread about the fairy jobmother - can you point me in the right direction please?

A lot of the particularly nasty posts have been deleted, as has the specific abuse thread, but I am annoyed to see the person concerned hasn't been PPR'd for it.

My head is pounding and I feel bleurgh again. So going to try and eat something so I can have some painkillers before I even consider looking at flying.

Okay, rubbish day flying so far. I also have added to my washing as I decided to take dd3 swimming this mornign having discovered water babies is on at 9.30-10.30 so ideal just before nursery. I hoped the pressure relief would help my spd a bit too (it did at the time?!)
I promptly took her to nursery after and went in search of venues which entailed more walking than i anticipated so I am now sat here in pain again trying to rest my poor aching joints and getting frustrated at all the jobs I'm NOT doing. :( I have told dh he has to strip our beds and put the new sheets on. I will go and open the windows in a bit and have a quick tidy up. Glad i managed to do a bit in the bathroom yesterday as I don't feel like my home is completely upside down as a result and i do have some ironing i could do sitting down.. all is not lost. :) Just got to get up and start doing it. has anyone seen my motivation??

Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr am absolutely livid with our local council:mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad:.

Have now send 5 emails in a month to them and have not even had an acknowledgement. We are moving to fortnightly collections in January and we have 2 bins for general rubbish and 2 for garden rubbish (1 is technically my Next Door's bin but her gardens are paved so we use it) and the local council won't give me a green sticker for my second general bin! But they will empty DH's ex girlfriends 2 bins! She lives across the road, same number of kids but just one adult in the house and no medical conditions (unless you call being a manky c*w a medical condition!).

In my house we have the 4 of us, but 3 of us have medical conditions, DD1 has allergies meaning she has to have her clothes washed in one type of washing powder, DD2 is allergic to DD1's powder and still wets the bed (she's nearly 7). DD2 has constitutional short stature and the doc has said she will grow out of peeing the bed but no-one knows when. She can go thru 3 or 4 pairs of training pants in a night cos she wakes up after she's done it. Top that off with my osteo-arthritis, spinal damage and other minor ailments. I go through shoes like no-one's business and once they are worn I cannot recycle them (who wants a pair of shoes where one has a hole in the sole!). But can the council even acknowledge that I exist ... NO!:mad::mad::mad::mad:

Flying wise ... DW on second load, one left to do before dinner, and about to get the washing in from the line (2 loads) ... loads more to do so I'd better get my big fat behind in gear lol.

Later folks and thanks for letting me rant!

How long would you get for burning down a house and killing all the occupants????

If you are thinking of doing this yourself, you could claim temporary insanity on account of the raging hormones.. I know i have been tempted during this preg to commit a few crimes of.. well...., not passion but you know. I can usually handle the small stuff but the slightest thing has been setting me off. I sound like a bloody fishwife half the time. lol
