She made her point, she made it well and she kept the upperhand -one day Im sure she will manage other people with those skills.
Hmmm, either that or being the evil genius that achieves world domination....
I have told her that, as she has been a complete pain in the bum stroppy knickers since the day she was born, when she becomes a teenager (assuming she makes to this time next year without me strangling her and hiding her body in the water butt), she has no choice but to become wonderful, kind, thoughtful and tolerant. Her reply? something like this - :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
Gave up on the flying in the end. My headache only went a little while ago, so it will be one lot of drying (it's threatening to rain again), so I think it's going to be fish finger sandwiches for dinner.
I am going to have so much stuff to do tomorrow - I need to vacuum upstairs and down, muck out the splats, change the bedlinen and - and - oh, it's not that bad then, really, just that and dust a bit.
Has DD1 gone AWOL, Piggers? If so, don't forget that she could well be trying to stir up a huge argument so she can be the hard done by teen. So you lose out because she wants the explosion.
Hope that Squeak gets better overnight, I had pneumonia once and it was horrible - I couldn't have eaten a thing because I was too short of breath, so the moment she refuses to feed, she needs hospital, whatever they might say to you. But you know all this already.I could dream to wide extremes, I could do or die: I could yawn and be withdrawn and watch the world go by.Yup you are officially Rock n Roll0 -
pigpen know you don't do hugs so have a drink on me. Preferably something intoxicating. (((hugs))) for Squeak (she's not old enough to have decided she doesn't like them as far as I know)
LL don't know what the good luck is for but have bags of it from me.GC Mar 13 £47.36/£1500 -
I am well aware and very much teen savvy... I said 'yeah whatever' and hung up the phone on her... silly little mare is going to fall a very very very long way.. and land with a big kersplat... and I'm going to let her....
DD1 had pneumonia several times and was very very ill a couple of times.. Squeak is absolutely fine other than the coughing/vomitting bouts... it is quite odd.
Best feed the beastly pinks so they can go to bed.
ooh.. the plasterers BOTH turned up.. one is ringing through a quote tomorrow and the other gave me a price which was 1/3rd of what I had budgetted!!!! So I am quite pleased! .. i'll see what the other guy says tomorrow and base my decision on that.LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -

Yep - you gave me great advice with mine last year. I just mentioned it in passing, as being tired, under the weather yourself and worried about a sick baby could have meant you were ever so slightly vulnerable to a PITA teenager manipulating the situation. [retreats quickly before you react to the possibility of being thought of as vulnerable]
The plasterers coming was a result - might be something else to tick off the list of things to do, soon!I could dream to wide extremes, I could do or die: I could yawn and be withdrawn and watch the world go by.Yup you are officially Rock n Roll0 -

Well I got in from Docs with her to find DS2 at 5ft 6 squaring up to OH at 6ft 4... I fell about laughing and walked away! Handbags at dawn ladies!!!!!! PMSL!!! Anyway I have DS2 being ultra-special at the moment so DD1 being a twerp I passed on to KH.. He can deal with that seeing as he said he couldn't have DS2 for a few days as he is living at hers and only at his when he has the children stay.. if she moves in with him and they live 'legitimately' she loses her disability dole money.. so they won't do that... so Dobbing him in sounds SO appealing...!!!!
I had budgetted about £300 for the plastering and the quote was £120 so I was well chuffed!!!!
I am actually feeling a bit 'sensitive' at the moment.. which basically means one word and I will fly off the handle lol.LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -
