That's what I said! "I think all the networks have PAYG with no credit expiry,"

I meant to say that you do not have to use it every so often (eg 6 months) in order to keep it alive.

Go with giffgaff, I have just changed to their network and you can talk for free or tx other giffgaff users. 8p for phone and 4p for tx, you cannot beat that. My son has just changed from 02 to giffgaff although he was getting free mins when he tops up by £10 a month, calling other network was costing him 40p per min, he is very happy now. Also if you use the link on their website you can get £5 free credit. I only use mine occasionally but will make sure I ame a call every 6 months to keep it active.

Really? I thought Virgin Mobile does not have an expiry date (though not great tariff), or at least last time when I was with them. Has it changed?

I believe Virgin have reduced theres to 3 months.

    But you can

Vectone 5p for Uk Mobile/Landline calls and 2.5p for texts if you top up online.

and free calls/texts to other users amount depends on size of top ups.

What about vodafone, as you can top up as low as £5, and as long as you make / recieve one call every 6 mths, it keeps it going.
