I don't have, but I don't have to have it to know.before you call it rubbish speak to orange, brother.obviously you don't have a sim-free iphone added to your account from orange.
Thousands of people use iPs with normal sims on Orange. And they cannot charge you for data that you have not used only because you are using the sim with a different hanset.Orange_Company_Representative wrote: »Hi MyKindaCompany,
That will work fine, without the iPhone bundle on your account you won't have access to BT Openzone hotspots but this can be added any time. Rather than cut down your existing SIM we can send you a Micro SIM free of charge just contact one of my colleagues on one of the pages in our profile on here.
Hope this helps,

Does this make any difference? Your phone may have been working all that day as well streaming something as a result of some fault or your mistake....and i was working all day that day.0 -
Has anyone not thought to read my post (#3)? If it's all happened in one day I'm 99.9% sure it's down to the billing issue I expalined. You probably owe nothing.
Ring them.I spent 25 years in the mobile industry, from 1994 to 2019. Worked for indies as well as the big networks, in their stores also in contact centres. I also hold a degree in telecoms engineering so I like to think I know what I’m talking about 😂0 -
Thank you I will ring them as soon as I get back in to the country.0

Orange tried to charge me £5 extra a few months back for additional data usage. They claimed I had used 960mb of data.
I called them up outraged and asked them to look back over my account, I had been complaining since day one of my contract about being barely able to make use of data services! They refunded the charge on my next bill and oddly enough next month I apparently used a staggering 27mb!!
Makes me VERY suspicious! I had always though the ~300mb/pm they had been claiming previous was a bit unusual given that it's not worth using. When I had the same phone on O2 I used data services frequently and very rarely clocked up 300mb a month!0 -
No I was in UK.I am on holiday now and I didn't even bring my orange sim card
I am using a local sim...0 -
This is the answer I got from orange head office.
Outrages, they still want me to pay for something that I didn't use.
"Thank you for your email dated 15 June 2011, addressed to Tom Alexander, Chief Executive Officer, Everything Everywhere Ltd. !Tom has asked me to reply and keep him updated on my outcome.
I am sorry you have experienced issues with your account and that you feel that the level of service which you have recently received has not been of a satisfactory level. I assure you that your comments are taken very seriously and have been highlighted to the relevant departments making them aware of the impact of this incident, with the aim of continually improving our customer experience.
The comments you have made regarding the level of service you feel you have received and the behaviour of staff members during calls have been forwarded to the correct parts of the business, for further internal review. The service you described in your original contact is certainly not the level of service we would expect a customer to receive and please accept my fullest apologies for any inconvenience you feel this may have caused.
Unfortunately, Orange are unable to waive the data charges incurred on your account. A check on the account notes advises that the iPhone Bundle was requested to be removed from your account on 15 April 2011. Further investigation shows that a data bundle was requested to be reapplied on 27 April when a call was made to query the remaining months data allowance.
As a gesture, a payment plan can be set up within the Executive Office to allow you to pay the remaining balance over the remaining 4 months of your agreement. This would require a payment of £187.86 including VAT to be made each month on top of your current monthly Service Plan costs.
If you wish to accept this offer then please contact me'
