Your local VX dealer is Evans Halshaw isn't it?
No closest Evans is about 70 miles away and it would still be cheaper to go them lol. My local VX dealer just want stupid money for everything. The last thing I phoned them was for the insignia washer jets, everyone is quoting around £4 from their dealers IIRC mine wanted £24+VAT, I said "Oh i don't want them fitted aswell i can do that myself", they Replied, "thats supply only" :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:Everyones opinion is the most important.....no wonder nothing is ever agreed on.0 -

OP, can you not paint a confederate flag on the roof and try and blag it?The greater danger, for most of us, lies not in setting our aim too high and falling short; but in setting our aim too low and achieving our mark0 -
Just had a quick google and your problem seems to be quite common, 2 suggested fixes are remove door panel or spray wd40 in lock, both have which have already been suggested.
Here is what somebody else said on a Peugeot forum:
"My step father had this on a Peugeot 307. There's a hook inside the door that connects the unlock mechanism to the handles. It had came off with someone pulling the handle very fast and letting go. Sadly, it was an !!!! and involved removing the inside door card and associated cheap plasticcy innards, to locate the clip and reattach it. After that it was fine though.
It might be that, it might be the locking module, if your not confident, pop it to a local garage. Is it in warranty? "0
