LOL, we've had loads of really heavy showers and its currently sunny blue skies but I understand its on its way. I had best get dressed and out in the garden before it arrives!

Reached me in northern Home Counties now. Bit of a shame, as I was going to some NGS gardens this afternoon, but it's no fun in the rain!

Been raining here [South Hants] for over 6 hours, and still tipping down thankfully so no need to for me re-water the dahlias I planted out on Thursday, and my ripening cherries will just love it

Just starting to arrive here in the North east although we have had a few nice showers this past week - Oh has been camping at Boot Beer Festival (cumbria) this weekend and he said it was really cold overnight - supposed to be warm in the North East next week and am hoping for paddling pool weather tomorrow!

I now have 4 butts overflowing, a bucket and 2 watering cans full, havent anything else i can store water in.
The garden is singing with relief and the birds are flitting around feeding station.
It can stop now for a day or 2 or 3
    :rotfl:
I hope everyone has had their share

All mine are full now and that is 1000 litres stored, plus a bin, 3 watering cans and a big trug. That was a very good downfall and will have gone right down to roots. Having said that, I am bringing in my overwintered onions tomorrow as I`ll be de-hydrating them. They were very big and heavy and it won`t take much for mildew to start

I put covers over 2 of my outdoor toms last night, great big green bags with holes in them and they anchor under the growbags. One cucumber has rotted at the base but the other two look ok. Tbh my cabbages are coping best with whatever the weather throws at them
