Morning all
It's abolutely pouring down heresuch a change compared to yesterday in Bristol.
Didn't have a good night's sleepwoke at 5am and took an hour to fall back to sleep. woke again at 8.30am and dozed for a bit, then my house phone rung and I jumped it to go answer it just in case cos only my 2 nan's and parents have the number....and it was a wrong number! typical.
OS wise - I need to put WM on but it' not gonna dry without the TD so may check the weather for mon/tues to see if I can dry outdoors then instead. BM may go on as I only have one slice left. I may make soup today too, feels like a soup day.
Other plans include doing a bit of work for one of the qualifications I'm doing, watching the F1 or going to cinema (the times clash!), I've freecycled some bits and 2 people should be coming to collect later this morning.
Off back to bed with cuppa and book. Have a good day all

Morning all.
Not posted on here in a long while, but whilst I was browsing I thought I might post today... We don't have any big plans for today. Baby number 3 is 3 days overdue, so will be staying close(ish) to home. I think I will repot my tomato seedlings in bigger pots as they are at the little plant stage now. Also, will ask hubby to get the reusable nappies from the loft so I can get them all washed, and work out which are the smallest.
Hubby is just about to take the boys to the park for a couple of hours, so I will have a potter on here and then get up and do a bit of cleaning/tidying while they're out xMummy to 3 fabulous boys all under 4 :eek:0 -
Morning :hello:
It's pouring down. We built a shelter between the house and the shed, usually the washing dries under there even when it's raining but the air is so damp that the clothes are still wet so I've put the heating on low to dry them off. Cheaper than the tumbler, especially with three loads.
I'm having a lazy day today. I managed to get everything done yesterday so had planned to spend the day gardening, but the weather has put paid to that.
Stupid scrap man is doing his rounds again, he comes at least four times a week. I've put my feelings on FBBulletproof0 -

I'm doing ok with the waiting so far. DS2 was 8 days late, so I thought I might be quite overdue again. Plus my 2 boys are only 19 months and 3 yrs old, so tbh it's probably easier being pregnant and uncomfortable than it will be when baby arrives.
Hope yours behaves when it's a bit nearer the time xMummy to 3 fabulous boys all under 4 :eek:0 -

Morning All,
Halight its really good to see you posting, hope the chooks bring you lots of fun
Ds1's bedroom is finished and he slept in there last night at last. It took far too long, but I was only managing dribs and drabs here and there, and I am quite pleased actually as the finish is lovely and he is over the moon. DS2's is next  I am on the hunt for a secondhand high sleeper with desk for him on Gumtree and Ebay, I have my eye on one or two, so hopefully I can get started this week on it. I have the wall frieze in already, and paint, but her want new flooring as the rubber flooring they have isn't warm enough, so it will be a couple of weeks before I get that bought and fitted. I don't eve know what I will be getting at this stage.
Anyhoo. The oven blew all the elecs in the house last night, while I had three lots of bread proving  DH will try and fix it this morning, but I have cover for it, so if it doesn't work, I will get them out to it this week. It has to happen when I am doing a full five day week though! The dough is in the fridge waiting for the oven, although the microwave is a combi so I might try it in there. DS1 is feeling a bit better and is off to the cinema with his friends, DH will be cutting the front grass and doing some other wee bits of DIY for me hopefully and I will be doing the usual washing drying cleaning etc. Still absolutely loaded with the cold, and I think I may have a sinus infection, but I can't do much when I have no access to the doctor today, it can wait until tomorrow.
I have decided to get the children immunised for MMR. I didn't do it when they were small, but am becoming increasingly worried about them contracting measles or mumps, especially with DS1 going to High School this year. I have read all the research and the stuff which also discredited Andrew Wakefield, and decided that the risk is so minimal I think its worth it, so they are off to the nurse on the 23rd of June for that. Its never ending, this maternal guilt/worry thing, isn't it?
Bargainbird, hope relations get back on track with the OH. I know how you're feeling, mine is becoming increasingly annoying this week, a houseful of sick kids and parents is not conducive to a happy home
Have a great day everyone.

jackie....have you had some Sudafed...as someone who gets sinusitis a lot i can honestly say it is a godsend:D
I wouldnt worry about the MMR jab....he has been totally discredited, DS had his and I know for a fact it didnt cause his autism, when we look back it was already there iykwim.0
