OSPS were a dream compared to e2.
I've two contracts taken out at the same time first claims were sent seperately and both mysteriously 'misplaced'. Sent again together special delivery and all was fine.
Now 2nd cashback claim - sent together special delivery - both acknowledged by text. Only one cheque received (the lower amount spookily enough). Apparently the 'data protection act' stops them looking at more than one claim if you put two in an envelope - that one actually made me laugh when they told me that. So they are refusing to pay the other claim because there is no record (despite their text acknowledgement). Oh well small claims court in the offing0 -

Hi
Recorded delivery (signed for) is the one which costs £1.
This does not normally cover consequential loss, so if you claim you may only get a book of stamps back.
Special delivery is the one which costs around £4. However, this only covers £500 of loss (iin this case the value of a couple bits of blank paper and an envelope). If you want consequential loss cover, then that is an additional £1.25. (i.e. a total of about £5.35)
E2Save specify delivery by recorded mail. Normally after a bit of battering on the cashback phone line, they will extend deadlines / mysteriously find letters that have been sent recorded delivery. Generally, they will pay up after a few strong words.
Previously, they would not sign for the letters, even those that were delivered, so you couldn't check online.
However, to my shock my latest cashback claim had a signature. Maybe things are changing, or the Royal Mail can't afford all the claims!0
