Great find!. Is this a good deal though? I might be tempted to get one if it is. Are the company any good as well? Thanks.0

e2save are basically the online cheapo version of Carphone Warehouse. Have used them myself with no problems, although others have had problems with cashback (don't think they're any better or worse than others on that front).
The D600 deal linked is a "clearance", ie return. If you're more comfortable with a brand new phone they do a similar package that works out at £7.50/month (versus £3.99 for the clearance).I really must stop loafing and get back to work...0 -
Just got one of these clearance deal on Virgin. Great offer. Because it's a clearance, the only accessories you get are a charger and a computer USB cable (no headset, ect). I have a question for e2save users: they state clearly that copies of the bills can be used, but I wondered if they also accept online statements print. I'd like to register for online statements with Virgin but want to be sure.... I thought that it would be the best way to avoid the possibility od bills being lost in the post!0

The best way of stopping the bills being lost in the post is to send them recorded delivery. Well this is what I was told by e2save. Lets hope after being ripped off by Vodafone in the last few days, I don't now get ripped off by this lot........0 -

If you want to be really safe on these deals, you need to factor in the cost of recorded delivery (£4 a go?) for each of the cheque back requests. Sounds daft, but when looking at a deal where the total paid only comes to <£5/month with 4 or 5 chequeback requests, the postage costs can become material...I really must stop loafing and get back to work...0 -
Recorded delivery is about £1 a go.Are there any other threads about the performance of e2save?0

You'll have to forgive me as I can never remember the terminology of recorded versus registered mail etc. In any case, as I understand it (and more than happy to be corrected) the one that costs around £1 allows you to watch to see if/when your chequeback claim is received, but it carries no insurance policy. Given the claim is effectively worth £60-70, and the timings for resending once you know it's clearly been lost are tight given how tight the claim deadlines are, I've always paid the extra and insured it. Perhaps I'm being ultra-cautious & wasting the extra £2-3, who knows.
For threads about people who've had difficulty with e2save, try this and this and this and this and this.
I'd stress I've been trouble free with them, but every outfit like this has customers who've not been so lucky.I really must stop loafing and get back to work...0
