I must add that I don't want any hassle or faff either, in that I mean different screens that you need to flick open and close in different areas that either duplicate or replicate the same thing,
I'm into the minimalistic design with no frills or silly flashy gimmicks that serve no real purpose and just get in the way.0 -
HTC Sensation and Samsung Galaxy S II appear to be the best rated high-end Android phones on the market at the moment.
Wouldn't disagree with the two phones you list but what about Moto Atrix?
And how the HTC Desire can be worst phone you've ever had... you must have had a lot of amazing phones...
Ok the two points you list are valid, but as you say the battery problem is a problem for any large screened media powerhouse phone.
As for internal memory, fair point but the phone is a year old now... apps have grown in size and popularity. Uninstalling unused apps, moving to SD, installing a smaller custom rom.. all options to get around the problem.A big believer in karma, you get what you give :A

Sounds like Android or any modern phone might not be for you then... what about a Nokia 1100?A big believer in karma, you get what you give :A

Can these be uninstalled?

With the right phone, if you know what you're doing, you can install a custom rom mate.... Vanilla android would be an option in such a case.A big believer in karma, you get what you give :A

For me it is Samsung Galaxy S20

Another vote for the Galaxy S2
it is blindingly fast (my previous phone was a HTC HD2, which was no slouch but it's painfully slow in comparison)
Now free from the incompetence of vodafail0
