Had a very depressing DFW day today!
I love Christmas asn love spending money at Christmas!!! Hence the debt:mad:
This year I set a budget and bought most of my gifts etc at the local outlet mall or over the internet with discount codes (thank to this site).
I have avoided going into town so I am not tempted by all the lovely displays of sparkly things:p
I had to go into town today to register for yet another uni course and ended up in M&S.
I was soooo depressesd! I just wanted to buy everything - lovely clothes that I am too fat to wear! Beautifull gift for everyone!!!
I felt veryweak willed and really wondered if trying to get debt free was worth it.
But I resisted - went into the food section bought a sandwich, 3 packs if Christmas cards for the kids to send (buy 2 get 1 free) and chocolate bar.
Total £6.95
I am trying so hard to get debt free but today highlighted the fact that I am still very easily tempted by retail therapy!!
I still have a long way to go0 -

Good evening PaP
Have spent £8.60 today - Catfood, pack of tobacco and a cappucino. Main shop and, hopefully, last of Christmas shopping tomorrow.
Have a good weekend PaP. :beer:I am NOT, nor do I profess to be, a Qualified Debt Adviser. I have made MANY mistakes and have OFTEN been the unwitting victim of the the shamefull tactics of the Financial Industry.
If any of my experiences, or the knowledge that I have gained from those experiences, can help anyone who finds themselves in similar circumstances, then my experiences have not been in vain.
