Hi PaP - Looks like moozie's 'unpacking' is taking as long as the 'packing'
Anyway - glad you're keeping the thread open :j :j
Just realised that I didn't post yesterday's spending   We were in Bath yesterday as we had to take my wife's uncle to hospital. Did have a look around, but didn't buy anything as most of our Christmas Shopping is now taken care of.
Spent - £1.09 on a cup of coffee and £1.03 on a 'Ginster's' for my lunch - Total £2.12 - Am off to update Signature.
Also - I increased my budget to £35.00 this week as I had intended to go to Yorkshire - since this has been postponed, I will revert my signature to my normal £20 target.
Hope you're enjoying the Wii.

    good morning all.

hope whatever moozie is doing on her hols she's enjoying it!

i'm torn between getting my food shopping in today or tomo. if i leave it till tomo i can have a second nsd in a row...but then i won't have any milk for tea with my brekkie tomo! argh life is full of complicated decisions :rotfl:

my challenge week runs from fri-thurs so i came in under budget last week, got £3.57 left :j i'll take that with me for the shopping this week, am having a hogmany party and pringles are half price in asda so i'll pick up a couple and use my extra from last week so i'm not short this week.

pap and lih i know what you mean about anthea, never seen it but heard the o/d'rs talking about it and just the thought scares me! i bet she's actually got someone paid to do her own house!

anyway have a good day all, i'm off to work shortly, via boots as my straighteners appear to be f***ed and i only bought them in august! keep yer spends low folks!
  • £3.78 on some food items at the co-op - was going to be an NSD, but realised we are a bit low on food.

Interestingly, though you may have discussed this before, I've noticed a bad 'cashback' habit of mine, whereby I'll get £10 cashback when I'm spending, say 2 or 3 pounds on something (only once a day mind). I've had a look at my spending diary and I think it has effectively been making me spend more money.

  • £1.50 on bus fare
£3.00 on a lunch because I forgot to make my lunch last night and didn't realise until it was time to grab lunch box out of the fridge and run to the bus stop

I contemplated going without but figured starving myself was a bit OTT.

I think my budget will be totally blown this week after grocery shopping tomorrow. Am also meeting an old friend tomorrow for an impromptu planned brief Christmas drink/lunch and don't expect to not buy anything.

    Lord I'm rambling again...oops wrong thread! ;)

Spent £39 on food shopping today.. which isn't good as i spent £63 on monday on food also... but it means that i don't have to go on sunday when the OH is off as he hates doing it... i won't have to go now til thursday... of which then it'll be about £30 on fresh stuff as i've got most of my xmas stuff over the last couple of weeks..
