I haven't got the manual to hand but I'm sure you press the 'Wake' button after setting the alarm time. It changes the icon from buzz to ipod to radio IYKWIM.stul87 wrote:Thanks sparky61. I couldn't find the manual on there so I rang Acoustic Solutions and they told me that it was a direct import (or something similar) so only Argos offer support for it. Rang Argos and they obviously didn't have the manual so it looks like I'll have to wait until I go home, unless someone here can help!
Hopefully someone has done this and can help!:smileyhea0 -
Hello Guys,
Has anyone successfully managed to make the ipod play a song as the wake up alarm?
I have selected ipod using the 'WAKE' button but when the alarm should sound, the ipod and alarm icons just flash and now song plays.
I have tried this with my 5th gen 60gig ipod and an older (prob 3rd gen) one too. Both have the same result.
I read that the ipod has to be off and not in pause mode etc but when my ipod is docked it stays in charge mode.
The ipod plays through the speakers fine and the radio alarm and buzzer work fine too but I want to wake up to my ipod.
Can anyone help?

Hi, I bought one of these and it works perfectly with my 80GB (5th Gen) ipod to wake me up. You have to make sure the IPOD icon is selected when you set the alarm and I leave the Ipod in a "paused" state before docking it.
1) Play a song
2) click pause
3) dock ipod
4) set ipod alarm
Does what it says on the tin
Chupke Chupke - the only way

Yes there is. There's the option of 15mins, 30mins, 60mins, 90mins and 120minutes.0

Thanks Chori Chori,
I'll try that tonight. I'm sure I read in the manual that you have to make sure the ipod is OFF and not in any sort of play mode or else it wont play.
I'll take your word for it
Report back later.

I just tried this, but unfortunately it didn't work for me. Probably something that I am doing though!0 -
I've just recieved an email saying that there's more stock of this item arrived. So I tried the store locator, and the closest to me (Doncaster) with stock is in worksop.
Should I wait to see if stock arrives at doncaster, or should I take the half an hour journey to worksop? I know it sounds sad but I REALLY want one of these!!0
