Well , if one company is offering zero to switch and another £135 to switch you are going to make the £135 your option to switch.
I appreciate that cashback is not always guaranteed but companies should be held to account when they offer things and fail.
In this case Quidco have let me down after being with them for over 11 years.
I expect more from them the than a £5 sorry0 -

Made a large purchase at the weekend with Currys/PC world( when they were offering the £10 bonus.) It tracked immediately but two days later has been declined.
Currys/PC World regularly decline claims on TCB as well.0 -
Trying to contact quidco via email on their support page, but it has been telling me for over a week now that the message has failed.
Can't use chat as I'm not a premium member.
Any suggestions as to how I can get hold of them? All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.
Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.0 -
Used Quidco compare to look at bike insurance. Went with Swinton £40 cashback but this has not tracked. Contacted support to make a claim but it says can tak up to seven weeks to track so will wait a couple of more weeks but I am not hopeful. I used Quidco compare last year and bought insurance from rias which was declined about ten months later saying I had not cleared my cookies. I always clear before purchase so wondering if it's not so good using Quidco compare? I have been a member for many years but getting a little disheartened...0

Is there a Quidco rep on MSE ?
There used to be ....
Perhaps they may like to provide a few answers/reasons ?0 -
Sorry if this has already been covered, but I was chuffed when I found out about Quidco's "double the difference guarantee" where if TopCashback have a better rate than them they would double the difference in the rate offered. So if Quidco - 8% and TCB 10% Quidco would pay you 12%
However after reading the Ts&Cs it seems to be a bit of a scam. Anything I've ever used Quidco or TCB for is excluded!
Quidco’s ‘double the difference’ Highest Cashback Guarantee will be applied to all retailers aside from those in the following categories: travel, utilities, finance, insurance, telecoms, subscription services, gambling, bingo, casino, poker and sportsbook.
In the aforementioned categories a maximum 10% top up will be applied to retailer rates. In these cases we will beat the advertised cashback rate on a rival UK cashback site by 10% (for example, 10% will be increased to 11%)
So it's still good that they'll beat it by 10% but the headline grabbing "double the difference" is a marketing scam, there isn't much I would get it for because it's the bigger things like travel, utilities, finance, insurance and telecoms I use it for.0 -
I do feel a bit bad about the above rant after using the highest cashback guarantee in the “excluded” categories.
I deliberately went through Quidco for home
Insurance which tracked at £42.50 when TCB has offered £50. I made a claim and they accepted it, £50 plus 10% is £55. You really can’t complain about that. I did the same when taking out a credit card. TCB offered £21 and Quidco offered £20. Again they accepted my claim and will be paying me £23.10. A very good trick, despite as I said the somewhat misleading headline “double the difference” slogan when most stuff will just beaten by 10%.0 -
Took out a Beagle Street Life Insurance over 6 months ago, which tracked. I've been paying the monthly premium ever since.
A big incentive going with them was the cashback, Quidco are saying it could take another 5 months to be confirmed.
Whats the chances if I cancel it but still get the cashback?0 -
Just to point out that the Quidco rep hasn't posted in months

Hi,
I've just seen that some cashback got declined for a purchase at Ebuyer. I guess it's because of the return of one item (<£30) out of an order od >£300.
Does it make sense to raise a missing cashback claim? If yes, what do I state as purchase amount and order number? Do I just subtract the returned item from the total amount and state the order number and the number of the credit note?0
