How to resign

I had a similar situation and I agree with the previous posts. One thing that helped me was a website bullyonline. It doesn't specifically deal with resignations but does give an insight into the pathetic mindset of bullies and how they haven't a clue about their own actions and will use every trick in the book to cover up their inadequacies. I'm really pleased you have another job to go to. You have the upper hand now, let the boss of your boss know what a poisonous influence she has been and how much it has cost the company. I wrote a list and was shocked at how much time and money my bully cost. He was 'moved on' after I left. Good luck and be strong!0

Even though you're resigned, you've nothing to lose by putting in a grievance against her.0

Agreed. Laying hands on you in the previous interview is not on. Raise a grievance, list all the things that she has done wrong, and hand it in on the last day if you feel you can't do it earlier - with a note in the grievance saying you were too scared to submit it earlier. You'll leave with a good feeling, knowing that you have stirred things up a bit

I agree with Jobbingmusician. Why should she be allowed to get away with being such a cow!!! Once you've left she can't do anything, and you'd be doing the right thing by bringing her nastiness to the boss's attention. You might be saving someone else from going through what you went through. Good luck in your new job anyway.2013 NSD challenge 3/10
