Repartitioning shouldn't affect restore points.
What is the content of c:\boot.ini on the laptop, what happens when you select either option?Ever get the feeling you are wasting your time? :rolleyes:0 -

I have PM 2005 from a previous magazine disk which works pretty well (see previous post). This is version 6.x of the software. Would it be worthwhile upgrading to PM 8.0?
Is this a full, non time-limited version?
Thanks.0 -
from what i can tell it is not time limited. it may be the full version of the ''personal'' level.
check this link which has already been posted above

Sorry, I put should affect restore points, and meant shouldn't..
Can't explain why they have gone.
The c:\boot.ini is in the root of the c: drive, and is hidden, so you need to remove the hidden attribute on the file (right click on it), and view hidden and system files (explorer, tools, folder options, view) to see it.Ever get the feeling you are wasting your time? :rolleyes:0
