Xmas "round robin!" A catchup & intro for all!

Well hello all,
Been here about 18 months now, but more of a lurker lately as I am now debt free. Managed to clear my final credit card very recently.Have put all my pressies on a cashback card but that will be paid off as soon as I get paid.
So I've had a great year finance wise thanks to MSE EBAY QUIDCO ETC. so nice to know my bank account doesn't automatically have a minus sign next to it! I've changed my ways completely, I check my internet bank every morning whereas before I wouldn't have known from one week to the next how much was in there. We do however have no savings now, due to having to spend ISA money ( an inheritance which I was determined not to use on debts) on a new car, but at least we paid cash for it!
So 2007 is going to be an enjoying having a tiny bit more money, and saving year! Would love to go to Florida again ( the reason we had debt in the first place!) but won't go until I have the cash to pay for it.

I am new here as you can see from my number of postings

I am not in debt now but I used to live on £20 per week for food and bills :eek: Boild spaghetti was my staple food. I am enjoying the forum very much. Lots of friendly people and good advice I could have done when I was hard up.

I've written a short story about my life and started the Prosperity Club for Xmas cheer :xmassmile
