First of all, I'd like to sing for you all :eek:
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
When you're close to tears remember
Some day it'll all be over
One day we're gonna get so high
And though it's darker than December
What's ahead is a different colour
One day we're gonna get so high
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ('High' lyrics by Lighthouse Family)
You must have talked enough about D**ts so I'd like to start a thread that containing only your unrealised dreams.
It's Christmas and I, your fairy, will wave a MAGIC wand for all of you on Christmas Day. How is that?
Please state your THREE dreams.
It doesn't matter if it's far fetched big dreams such as "to own a £x million pounds yatch" or "surrounded by 3 gorgeous babes/hunks" etc. And it doesn't matter if you don't know how to get it because that's not what we are focusing here. Please tell us your dreams only and not your debt. That will be taken care of one day.
PinkGal
PS - If anyone wants to know my background since I'm new...
A couple of years ago, I had about £10,000 savings in the bank and decided to take a year off doing nothing
That was good.
Then came hardship, as hard as steel. I swang right to the other side of the prosperity scale. Living on £20 a week benefit which covered my food & ultility bill budget. Thank you to people at CCCS, I lived like that for nearly a year. First Direct came down on me like a ton of bricks and boy that was tough. Things has changed and needless to say I am actually glad that I don't bank with them anymore. I wish I found this forum then.
Although I am not in debt now, I have been there and done that.

Well, I am sitting here at work, as I am browsing this site, you can take it as read that I am a little quiet!!
My 3 wishes - good health for my daughters (1 has a metabolic illness which she manages, but affects her life greatly. I would love her to wake up suddenly well)
Be rich enough to never have to work again for me & my OH - I couldn't do nothing, but would like to do things that would give me satisfaction of helping people/animals, without worrying about whether we were going to get further in debt or manage to keep our heads above water for another year (sounds rather goody-goody I know, sorry)
Be rich enough to travel the world in relative comfort - ie first class flights every time - dont mind roughig it when I'm there!!
Come on magic fairy, make my dreams come true!!!0 -
3 things that I want that money can't buy:
1. A healthy baby boy (and a pain-free labour please) in 7 weeks' time
2. To get the promotion that I interviewed for last week- it would be my perfect job and I would put everything into it (despite the sleepless nights with baby)
3. To have those close to me who've died back on this planet for one day so I can say a proper goodbye
There you go magic fairy, you've got your work cut out there!Debt at highest May 2006: £27,472.24

As for saying one last goodbye to your loved one... leave it to me
See you both on Christmas day here or whenever you can log-on.
Anymore, anyone? If you don't try, you'll never know.

As it's christmas i am going to be a bit silly and frivolous.
1) To have a little smallholding away from people with a few pet sheep, a few dogs and lots of peace and quiet.:j
2) To get my eyes lasered. Sick of contact lenses.:cool:
3) To get a snog from Anthony Kiedis!!!!!!!!!:D
If i had three real wishes it would be different from above but hey you have to dream sometimes.:beer:DFW Nerd no 546

1. To have a baby
2. To own my own house outright and have savings in the bank
3. To pay off all my debts and tell Lloyds TSB to go **** themselves (on track for this one and can't bloody wait!!!!)
P.S Thanks to everyone on this website for helping me to begin to achieve these deams, without the advise and help of you guys, i'd still be sitting on my bum, crying and wondering what on earth happened to all my money!!!2022 Comp total (prizes + free spins): £494.81 #20 £12 a day Jan: £382.95/£372 #57 360 1p challenge: £17.70 £10 a day Feb: £571.09/£280 March: £311.96/£3100 -
Right now?
1. To stop waking up in a cold sweat wondering how I'm going to afford everything I need to pay for in the next couple of months.
2. To get a decent well-paid job using what I'm studying for.

I'm a gal and not Anthony however, how about after Queens speech?
I can confirm that I have a powerful fairy wand.
Hi jak

Savings in the bank....how much? I suggest you dream big!
