I always wrap everything and it does take ages, it's never occurred to me not to and I think once you've started it would probably cause quite a lot of upset to not bother one year.

I have three children and always buy three different wrapping rolls and use them one per stocking. That way I can be sure I won't get mixed up and niether will the kids on xmas morning.

I also wrap everything! I do my wrapping as I buy in case we have another episode like we did a couple of years back at mums "christmas eve party" she got incredibly drunk and my now ex-bf had to carry her to bed whilst I sat in the attic wrapping all my little brothers pressies......then had to go home and do my own!!

MUMS eh? who'd have 'em :rotfl:

I don't have kids, but as a child my stocking presents were always wrapped, and I think my husbands were too. So now we do each others stockings it has never occurred to me not to wrap. I feel that if they weren't wrapped you could just tip the whole stocking out on the bed and just see everything, whereas half the fun is in guessing what things are and unwrapping them.

I wrap everything in our house too, usually in one night with a couple of [strike]glasses[/strike] bottles of wine. You can actually see the graduation of wrapping quality deteriate throughout the night
