To Wrap or Not To Wrap ???

I've been told by a close friend I am mad if I wrap the stocking presents, they should just go in as they are.
I always wrap them, it doesn't seem right not to, what do you all do ?
Am I just wasting time and paper ????

I wrap - no fun otherwise and takes longer for them to unwrap them (time to make a cuppa) :)

I wrap them - mine were never wrapped as a kid though and it didn't bother me at all :)

  • I wrap the things for the stockings, apart from the small fiddly things, like boucy balls. Christmas wouldn't be christmas without loads of wrapping paper

I've never wrapped the stocking presents.

I've never even thought about wrapping them to be honest.

Sometimes it's important to work for that pot of gold...But other times it's essential to take time off and to make sure that your most important decision in the day simply consists of choosing which color to slide down on the rainbow...

I used to wrap the stocking pressies (mine were as a child) but the last couple of years i havnt wrapped them. My children havent said which way they prefer, they are just happy with their presents. Maybe i will ask them, see what they would like Santa to do!!!!

I used to put the kids presents in a pillowcase as they were but wrapped anything that was too big to fit in. It is only in the past few years that we have wrapped the presents and put them under the tree (DS1 23 and DS2 19) so as you can see we don't need to pretend any more.

When the kids were little it was easier to hide things as we bought them and only bring them out on Xmas eve.

    Merry Xmas everyone

I wrap most of what goes in the stockings - although I might leave something at the top like a cuddly toy with it's head peeping out.

  • We had a sack with big presents all of which were wrapped, then a stocking (the size of a real sock) with small things in like a novelty pen, a shaped jelly from thorntons etc, and these were never wrapped.
