for a single person they allow the first £5 and deduct the rest £1 for £1 from the JSA...not sure what amount is allowed for couple.
If your wage is £60 + £25 petrol expenses then you would declare £60
If they pay you £85 and you have to pay petrol from that then you may have to declare it as £850 -
yes wage is 85 and then i have to take away 25 petrol.so if that is the case am i better off on jsa? dont know what to do have been lokking for work for last 3-4 months.0

Then take the job, and build on it.
You won't be better off on JSA.
Neither of those figures add up by the way, it's not minimum wage.Per Mare Per Terram0 -
hourly wage is 6 pound and 14.5 hours a week. it was advertised with job centre website.so if i was to start work this week when would i have to sign off? and would i get any help from jobcentre for starting a new job?0

You'd sign off on your first day.

Are you going to be self employed?Gone ... or have I?0

Agreed most of these jobs are self employed and minimum wage does not apply. Are you going to be self employed?
OP you need to check your car insurance. It must cover you for business use. Most policies cover Social, Domestic and Pleasure (SDP) as standard. Many policies also cover Commuting (SDP+C) but not for any use whilst you are at work.:footie:

no employed. why does it make a difference?0

If it's self employed you can claim 45p per mile from the £85 per week along with many other expenses. You'll probably end up with nil income and have no need to declare anything.no employed. why does it make a difference?
Employed you can't do that.:footie:
