Hi thanks for popping by. No sales on crayon wraps yet but scool xmas fair is coming up and friend is putting a few on her table and will take orders if they sell out (is that wishful thinking). I do like the fact that were getting a fresh start in the new year. Lets hope we can keep it all to plan for the most of it, and keep the spending to a minimum.
When you reveiw your income do they need to see proof - wage slips etc - not planning on fibbing to them or anything but just wondered really. We will be up for review in jan as hoping to know by then how much OH is on per week. Would like to get a few bits done round the house though before they take extra money away, even though it would help clear things quicker. Only things like curtain poles, paint for fence outside. Budget is quite tight at the moment and not really enough money for bit like this.
Anyway must keep going as no tidying up done yet - oh dear - have done plenty of other bits thoughMe, DD1 19, DS 17, DD2 14, Debt Free 04/18, Single Mum since 11/19

Hi Slm
Just read through your whole thread! Well done with Avon, you done well pretty much from the start! I tried it in my local area but not much interest, the leader did warn me it was a bit hit and miss so I was well prepared.
Im a single parent to 1, so not quite same situation, but I do have huge debts.
Anyway, just wanted to wish you well & I hope the DMP works for you40 to go0 -

Ok boot lock on the car will not work. It has been breaking bit by bit for the past few months, but now it just turns and nothing happens. Ok so not a huge problem you would think - well my buggy is in the boot of the car. Not sure how i will get it out and there is no way i can carry LO about with me. It is a big buggy so getting past the back seats and out of the back doors wil cause problems but i guess it may have to come to it but cant do this everytime. Have asked a few friends and freecycle if they still have their old umbrella buggys as i could put it at kids feet then.
Rest of the day has been good and most of my avon deliveries were made or arranged for another night - best delivery so far to date. Had to get nappies for DS (cant ever see him being dry at nights) so not a NSD today. Seriously need OH home so that i can transfer some of his wages over. He has spent the last few nights in the lorry so although no money to tfr he is saving on petrol to and from work, and then earning money for nights away. Am a little worried about how many hours he is working. Not sure he can keep going doing 15hrs a day.
Cant remember if i mentioned but i got a mid sleeper for my DS the other day off freecycle (my new argos catalogue i think as if i need anythng this is where i go first). Its in great condition and should free up some needed space in his room. Plus i have decluttered quite a bit so far. Just need to get stuff to charity shops and bed put up.
Ok must go to bed myselfMe, DD1 19, DS 17, DD2 14, Debt Free 04/18, Single Mum since 11/19

Hi thanks for popping by. We both have electronic banking but i need the card to use in the gadget thing they gave him before we can log on as he has no computer his end in the lorry yet. I think once a month i will set up transfers and this will be done automatically but at the moment we are not quite sure what his hours or pay will be. Once we get a general idea i will just tfr standard amount over and go from there. Must find the bit of paper with passwords etc on as its somewhere in my filing pile.
Got DD injections today and then speech therapy for DS. Think we may take picnic to surgery and just stay there as not too much time between them both. We will see.
Oh and i have broken something else this morning! Our shower has no pressure although is still technically working. It is normally very loud and powerful but his morning it is just like putting one of those contraptions on the the taps. Just a dribble in comparrison.
Feel like all i do is moan on this thread so sorry to all - i am normally quite a happy kind of person. Right off to do some workMe, DD1 19, DS 17, DD2 14, Debt Free 04/18, Single Mum since 11/19

Moan away hun
Would dh have his pay set up to go into the bank account where all the dd's are coming from & also the dmp payments? DH has his own bank account but gets his wages paid into my (not joint) bank account. Then on pay day i transfer, £40 pocket money, £15 mobile top up money (and anything else that has been budgeted for him) that way whilst he is working i have full control of the money and the budget and he doesn't have to do anything but spend his money. Even though he would never admit it, he is bad with money, and therefore having only a certain amount of money each month he can do what he likes with it. if it gets spent that's it for the month! I know this might sound controlling lol but it works for us as hubby away a lot. so if your dh is away also a lot with new job might be something you could speak to him about?
