I do accept that I shouldn't have parked there but there should be clear visible signs as also stated by the British Parking Association. As for the people who live there and have also been clamped, I did not get into a detail discussion with them as to why they did not appeal. Each to his own! As confirmed by the sports centre and the council they don't want to get involve. The centre said that they have requested signs but the council refuse. What is this telling you now?
This is getting more and more bizarre. The property belongs to the council and they have employed these people to clamp cars parking illegally? I'm probably barking up the wrong tree here, but don't councils use their own CEOs to do this sort of work? If the land is theirs, they should be ensuring that the signs are adequate, shouldn't they? Perhaps you are not talking to the right departments? The greater danger, for most of us, lies not in setting our aim too high and falling short; but in setting our aim too low and achieving our mark0 -
