Hi all,

OH has taken Ds2 out for a couple of hours, i was going to have a nap but i've decided to clean my filthy messy house instead.

I'll join in with your 2nd HHC macpep.

Monday - Kitchen and dining room
Level One
Do items 1 and 8 from your frog list!!!
Level Three
Sweep and mop the floor

Tuesday ~ Living Room, Hall and Stairs
Level 1
Vacuum floors and sofas
Wipe over sticky sofas.
Froggy items 2 and 6
Level 2
Dusting, even if around everything
Remove clutter making sure stairs especially are safe
Clean mirrors and other glass things that are meant to be shiny!
Level 3
Wipe paintworks and any grubby marks off walls etc
Clean any fluffy electricals and defluff behind the radiators!
Vacuum under furniture you can manage to move without hurting yourself

Extras
clear a hotspot or 3!
Clean light shades/fittings and lamps
Clean a window or two.
Wash any smelly soft furnishings!
Wednesday ~ Bedroom & Landing
Level One
Open the window and air the room
Strip off smelly bedding and sling it in the wash.. replace well before bedtime!

Level Two
Vacuum the mattress and air the duvet
Put the floordrobe in the wardrobe
Find 10 things to get rid of!..
Level Three
Vacuum the landing and bedroom.. starting at the bottom of the stairs!!!!
Remove anything that should be elsewhere..
Remove some dust bunnies and wipe over the light shades

Extras
Wash any curtains that need doing
binbag dance
Clean the windows
15 minutes sort out of the landing gibble.. see if you can find something to rehome!
Thursday Scrubfest- Bathroom and Study/Pc Area
Level One
Clean & wash floors in these rooms
froggy list 7 and 10
Level Two
Clean baths, toilets, don't forget the outside! and sinks.. shine the taps with a toothbrush
Clear any clutter from desk and wipe off those cup rings!!
Wipe keyboard, house phone, sockets, switches and mouse etc
Level Three
Replace sponges and toothbrushes that need doing!!
Wipe down tiles in bathroom.. defragment your pc while doing this.
Clean shower screen/curtain if you have one/if required
Collect all the dirty laundry
Extra
Fling all those empty bottles and tubes
Binbag dance.... ready.. set.. go!!!!!!!!
empty out the bathroom cabinet.. clean it.. fling what you don't need and stash the rest in a beautiful manner.. in alphabetical order please!
Empty and clean out all the upstairs bins!
Friday! - childrens rooms
Level One
Clear the floors in the childrens room.. throw out any broken toys and find some that are no longer needed that can be sent to charity shop or given away.
Don't forget your 'you time'!!!
Froggy list 4 and 5
Level Two
Change the childrens bedding/wash curtains
Vacuum mattress (after turning & wiping any waterproof sheets) and floors
Wash window
Level Three
Sort through a clothing cupboard.. anything outgrown?
Drag everything out from under the bed too.. there is floor under there!!
Dust.. lightshades, curtain poles, games consoles/PC's etc
Extras
Make sure coats and shoes and uniforms are ready for school and homework is all done so you can relax the weekend!
Wipe any sticky handprints and dirty marks off walls and doors
Wipe down the paintwork & radiators
Repair 2 things from you 'mend it' list!!!

Rescued Ds2's teddies from the garden before they got rained on
Put wm on a conditioner rinse
Made curry & put it in the Sc
Emptied food waste bin
Sorted recycling
Unloaded & loaded dw
Handwashed
S&S Kitchen

How did the rest of you get on?

I'm going to do another HHC at 1.50 so NOW.

I'm leaving my student halls in two days and need to be packed before I return later that week with my mum to pick it all up Strictly there's not much cleaning to do, but lots and lots of packing

all done, ran a little over due to small child!!! Kitchen cleaned worktops, brushed and moppped floor, cleared and washed windowsills. cleaned bathroom & floor, dusting, glass cleaned, floors brushed and washed in hall and LR, gotta rush now xx

Would have been out shopping and generally pottering around, but a letter dropped through the letterbox from the local council, informing me that the dodgy developer who bought the garages next door has decided for the third time to apply for planning permission for a bunch of 3 storey houses in a position where they claim they will not overlook anyone, but I have worked out they will be able to see into Minion's bedroom, the kitchen and both bathrooms without any great effort on their part.

Oh, and he seems to think that making my next door neighbour chuck away her fence will solve the issues of putting parking spaces at the front, right on top of our sewer outlet (which he coincidentally claimed he never gave permission for and has only just noticed, three years after these houses were given permission - I have ignored his letter demanding payment - if he wants to start litigating, he can flaming well pay and find out the freeholder's name himself - seeing as he dealt with them in the first place when they used the land in question to gain access to build this place)


So I have been carefully completing an online planing objection to it. A couple of bungalows wouldn't have been an issue, but three three storey houses?



Anyway, now I have done it (hope he gets refused again - I've looked up his details, despite his trying to hide them by forgetting to add his name and telephone number, and he is one of those who has a string of companies closed and opened under a different name the next morning), I shall nip out and try and cheer myself up. Honestly, I've just spent so much time trying to get the garden nice and then someone wants to take all the sunlight out of it and replace the blue sky and birds with a bloody great brisk wall! :mad:



I think this calls for either sushi or copious quantities of Malaysian food!

I know that feeling Jojo :mad: along side my garden are now 6 houses instead of the field that was there. I feel like i'm in a goldfish bowl now when i'm out there.

Ds2's back, OH's power has gone off so he brought him back. :cool:
