Tesco sunflower oil 28p per litre - MISPRICE!

Just grabbed 20 bottles from the local metro store near me (marked up at 28p too). The larger out of town store had an empty shelf, but displayed the 28p label with some sort of blue plastic over the top. The metro was fine about selling it to me, and even commented "Is that the 28p one?" when I went through the till!


Incidentally, 20L is only 1/3rd of a tank on my Lucida. If I fill up with normal diesel now, it costs me over £70. You do the maths.

Shelves at my local were full, but marked at full price & scanning at full price.

(SA told me they were scanning at 28p yesterday though.)

i saw the veggie oil no sign of the sunflower oil big empty space on the shelf they must ave emptied just after u left

Still plenty in tesco prescot i only bought 2 it will take me forever to go through that.

The manchester !!!!! of grabbits must have been busy as all stores I went in bar one had empty shelves where the oil should have been !!!!
The one store that still had some was Huddersfield Road Oldham
but they only had maybe 20 or so bottles left (after I collected my 12 I wanted) around 10am so dont all rush out

Although the olives seem to be in plentiful supply (even after mine & my mums visit)
