    Forgive me here but...

Your both driving down the road on the correct sides, wing mirrors clip yet the PASSENGER is injured!? As said above, how is the passenger the one injured?

The mirror insert went through drivers side window and hit me full on in the face

Well as a claim validater on the fraud team I would of defo had a wee look at this one, doesn't seem to make possible sense the way its described but meh.. clearly everyone above thinks this can happen quite easily.

:( its what happened i have a mirror shaped cut on my face plus the bruising.... perhaps it was a freak accident but what i have said is exactly what happened.

You've got your opinion of it, I've got mine :) Seems very weird though that shattered glass completely bypasses the driver.

Anyway, ending discussion, best of luck to the OP with a resolution.

It didnt, my husband has a cut eye and we are both still pulling tiny bits of glass out of our arms... we were both treated in hospital.
Quick edit now i have read through. I know none of you know me , and yes i could be trying it on.. but I was seen in hospital, glass was removed, the bruising is still there , thank you for your support most of you, I was VERY lucky one cut on my neck very close to jugular and a couple very close to my eye, but mostly just grazing and no long term damage other than a little scaring perhaps.
I am not out for blood or to make money out of an accident i just had no idea if i could follow it up and was curious, we have now spoken to my drivers insurance re the damage to the car and its in their hands.
