I recieved my tickets today.. and i was also glad to see any tickets i have left that i do not use before 11/02/2011 can be sent back and exchanged for new tickets for the 2012 season !!! ....

 I hadn't noticed that on the letter, so thanks for the heads-up :A. Have gone & re-read my letter and the same message is there, but the new ones will expire at the end of June.
Reckon they've done it due to the delays in sending them out? I won at the begiining of April (2nd ish) was told they'd be here for the beginning of May. When they weren't here by the end of May I emailled again to be told there'd been problems with the supplier who'd promised "Next week." 3 weeks later, they've finally arrived...
Certainly don't have 12 free weekends before the end of October when some tickets expire, so would have been a real struggle!

As you just have to insert the tickets into the barrier scanner anyone can use them.

Has anyone used theirs & found them to be any different from the other online tickets you buy? Are they scrutinised in any way? What about the Sea-Life ones? TIA:A

I received mine today and they're even better than expected. Because it said you won 12 family passes I assumed that my kids would be too old to be part of the family ticket and we'd have to use 2 passes but the tickets are individual ones for all ages :j:j:j
Absolutely fantastic, thanks to the original poster :T

:o And there I was puzzled because I couldn't see where it said adult / child :rotfl: May well take a gang of mates to Alton towers/ Thorpe park .

I;ve given a few of mine away to friends as there's no way I could go to all the attractions before the expiry dates

Picked mine up today post office as I had a red card from Friday. I was pleased they were individual tickets as we are a family of five so would have had to purchase an extra ticket if they had been family tickets.

Received mine today too. Delighted to see they are individual adult tickets, won't have to use so many to take my teenage son and friends:j
  • Hi there, has anyone who won on this, sent back tickets they weren't able to use in 2011 and received new replacement ones for 2012? It's not an issue at the moment as I don't think the venues re-open until March, but just wondering...
Thanks to all who post comps!

Hi I spoke to them in November, they said to send the unused tickets back with a covering letter when the parks re-open March time

I sent mine back, with a covering letter, just before Christmas, so am just waiting for the replacements to arrive. Hope they don't take as long as the originals!
The letter that came with them didn't mention waiting until the parks re-open in March, so hope that's OK...
They didn't mention whether you could send back Sea-life, but I had a few of those we never got chance to use. Nothing to lose, so have given it a shot!

I sent mine back about mid November and haven't heard a thing so I'm glad I'm not the only one as I was worrying slightly :)

I've got some Alton Towers tickets I haven't used, I was going to wait until March before sending them back so I am really glad I'm not the only one, I was wondering also what everyone else was doing.
