Tesco conveniane stores

It's quite normal for two different stores from the same company to have to different prices it's usually on kvi's (known value items) that customers purchase a lot and tend to know the prices from one retailer to another, if another competitor in a area has certain items on offer it makes sense to match the price locally rather than centrally.0

Don't you see, maybe if they speak in slightly nicer way when they don't understand something people might be nicer when they reply!!!!
Not rocket science is it?
I do wonder why people seem to pick up on the snippiness of some peoples replies, but not on the OTT and lairy way people express their opinions. It is reasonable to expect people to express their negative views as mature adults, and to object when they don't.0 -

So it's wrong for someone to express annoyance in their opinion unless they are taking someone to task for expressing annoyance in their opinion.
Priceless! It is reasonable to expect people to express their negative views as mature adults, and to object when they don't.
If you are going to hang around on a forum one of whose express purposes is to allow people to have a vent, why are people so surprised when they do just that?
It's about as sensible as going to a KKK forum and then complaining that the posts are racist. There are two types of people in the world: Those that can extrapolate information.0 -
This is why Tesco make billions of your pounds in profit!
They do not make any profit from me as I boycott them - I don't like their methods of selling0 -

What the put products on the shelf and let the customer pay at the till method?
I have no problem with Tesco at all. Infact I've found a new way to save money with them. The Asda I goto hasn't had any own brand strong white bread flour for a while meaning the cheapest is around £1. I get it from Tesco instead, fill out the online form and they give me the difference between their price and Asdas even though Asda haven't had it for ages!0 -

Well I'm very happy with Tesco but I do wish they'd change their selling method to one where I run past the store with a trolly and the staff guess what I want and take turns to attempt to lob it in as I run past.
You would think that would be easy enough to arrange. There are two types of people in the world: Those that can extrapolate information.0 -
I don't have a problem with the prices in Tesco express stores - I understand the reasoning and the difference is only marginal anyway.
What I do have a problem with is not only the fact that Tesco seriously seem to be taking over the country (I live near the center Nottingham and have access to a mere 33 stores in a 10 mile radius) but I am simply fed up with the stock in the shops themselves - every express store sells exactly the same produce. Not only that but they never seem to change what they sell - it's all SO boring now, I can pretty much name everything tesco express stores sell, and plan what to buy before I visit - even though I wish there was more choice for me to go elsewhere :-(0 -

That is rather the point.
They will have selected their very best selling items - or at least those that sell the best in the smaller stores - and will stick to them - unless they stop selling well.
They spend an enormous amount of effort into determining what people want and allocating shelf space to get it to them.
If you go to a local/express/metro you are probably going for something specific and are going to be really annoyed if they don't have it and are stocking something you don't want instead. These stores must be able to reliably provide people with what they want and what they expect to find there. There are two types of people in the world: Those that can extrapolate information.0 -

i have a real problem this method aswell. i find it oppressive and dictatorial that tesco decide for me what i have to buy by deciding what they'll sellhelpful tips
