I have looked at the op's other thread they started today and do wonder if they're wind ups as I really can't believe someone really seems to know as little about the world. See the op's other thread for more details!

i do wonder about peoples ability to use common sense but theres not much we can do about those people

Not everyone intuitively understand the difference between fixed and variable costs and the interplay between them.

Well maybe then they shouldn't use terms such as "I think it disgusting" and just ask why it might be?

Don't you see, maybe if they speak in slightly nicer way when they don't understand something people might be nicer when they reply!!!!

    Not rocket science is it?

!!!!!!, this is the 'vent' forum.

If everybody invariably understood that there might be perfectly good reasons why a lot of the things that annoy them are the way they are the world would be a much more peaceful and generally calmer place.

But if someone provides a forum for people to get things off their chest and have a good vent, then why not let them?

Provided those who know more take the trouble to inform those venting in a polite, non-judgemental and non-supercilious manner they may even do some good.
There are two types of people in the world: Those that can extrapolate information.

Oh no - 12p a shocking 3.86% more for not having to spend what, say £1 on a bus fare or £1 in petrol and saving you time too. What's the country coming to, won't people please think of the children - the children.
