We stayed 2 weeks ago at the kings cross one in London, it is what it is, terrible views of the buildings all around, noisy road, the bed had a dip in it and everytime someone rolled the went into the dip in the middle:rotfl: it was clean, we went to the pub on the corner that does breakfasts rather than pay travelodge £9 each when theirs was £4.50 and lovely, would not go back there again because of the bed, noise and location was fine but no, it is what it is:D

If you mean Millers on the corner beside Tesco, this is my favourite pub in London. Well recommended.

I stay at the TLs in London regularly just as a tourist, and I agree with you about the KX TL but i always try for this one, as the location is just so central. The downsides are worth putting up with.

Just a wee update... Spotted a couple of £19 rooms in London: City Road and Farrington, on Sunday 17th July.

Also, Aldgate East has a £19 on Sunday 31st July.

These are just standalone nights, though - does anyone know if they'll do blocks of days in the sale? Like, a Friday and Saturday night both in the sale?

Yep, and smashing Wetherspoons virtually next door, and only 10 minutes walk to Brick lane and Petticoat Lane. Escellent location

Virtually no chance whatsoever of a Friday or Saturday night for £10 in central London. Sorry
