    No guarantees but I got family rooms in London for £10 for a few nights around 2am last time.

    What tactics if any did you use or is it just pure luck?

    I have been bidding on ebay for attractions to London and so far I have missed every single one of them, last nights was by 4p and todays 7p, the family keep laughing at me and now think I am totally mad even thinking I will get a £10 room with my track record:rotfl:

    My OH has gone to bed rolling his eyes at the madness but he will be the first to appreciate the £10 a night rooms if I get them:D

  • If a room you want is currently saying check availability....and there isn't any - could that change on the start of the sale? If not might as well go to bed - can't change my dates! LOL!

    When I press on the check availability it comes up with a ridiculous figure like £159.95 hopefully to reduce that later?

    Just keep checking this thread and peeps will advise as soon as they have booked anything. Go and make hubby a cup of cocoa to keep him sweet!

  • Ok percentage-wise....what do we think are the chances the sale prices will go up at the following?:

    * 1.30am
    * 2.00am
    * 5.00am
    * 6.00am

    I've never been a sale person, wondering whether to go to bed and then saunter back to the computer tomorrow at 7, instantly find what i'm looking for and leisurely book the rooms....LOL!

    (ok you all screaming at me now! lol!)
  • oops! I mean't today at 7! :-)
