ProntoPound are also part of city financial/north finance/validius finance,
I couldnt pay the £65 fee at time of phonecall I received from C.F so they put me onto a payday loan company to cover fee by the name of ProntoPound, I have yet to receive funds in my account but they are requesting repayment, I have informed my bank who have cancelled my card as lost or stolen and will not pay out any money to either named companies, The e-mail addressess are hoax as my e-mails get returned by my provider stating invalid e-mail and their phone numbers you get put through to answer machine and each companies enquiry number are all the same 0161 numbers
so theres another company to add to their list PRONTOPOUND

I too have unfortunatly been scammed by these people today....yes I know how stupid I have been paying them money for a loan! I have not even yet recieved and email with the t's & c's. My question is has anyone ever had their money I report this to? I could kick my self for being so stupid but I was desperate to raise money for a bond on a house and after paying these scammers now have £9 in my bank account. For anyone else who has been as silly as me, I was advised by my bank today that not only do they take the initial £65 every 6 - 9 months they can credit search you every 6 - 9 months and take the fee again so cancel the card you paid them from! Please if any one has any advice (not critisism for doing it in the first placeor not to do it again) I would be very greatfull

I to have been caught out by City Financial with further financial consequence to myself.

I intend to use some of the posts in this thread as background evidence to send to the Financial Ombudsman Service.

    The posts I would like to use are: 10, 12, 16, 19, 52 and ,68.

If the people who wrote these posts would prefer me to not send their post to the ombudsman post a thread saying as much before May 18th 2012.

If anyone else has a sutible posts they don't mind me using please post me a message before May 18th 2012.

    .
The people you are quoting are pretty much all one post wonders.
They sign up on here, tell an identical tale to those above them and disappear never to be seen again.

Some might think they are rival companies out to slander their competitors.

Others may think the type of person who falls for this nonsense would have completely fogotten even making a post on here within 10 minutes of hitting the submit button.

The typical applicant was never in a millenia going to bother making a single repayment on a loan anyway, let's face it, none of them have £69 left over at the end of the month to make a payment with.

i got conned for a guaranteed loan theyve said i was accepted for and since ive had foreigners phonning to get me to deposit on to a pay zone card which set the alarm bells ringing,i havent had paperwork or the loan so i phoned my bank and told them i hadnt authorised the payment and ive had it returned pending an inquiry....these people at city finance obviously dont want to be found so i cant see they can prove i authorised this cause their is no evidence just a phonecall which i presume wasnt recorded,so how can they prove this and give their whereabouts at the same time...they are !!!!!! and ive been onto the police that are investigating them now

One thing I do not understand is where do people being scammed by City Financial Brokers find them in the first place? Or is it a case of them finding you ? Just one google of their trading name says Fake Fake Fake how sad that people are still falling for it.
