!!!!!!!s been done for £75 ombudsman aware of them and they are operating unethically but perfectly legal, currently being investigated by police but basically your money is gone and you feel a right !!!!.... advice from ombudsman is to put a letter or email in to your bank stating that if any further attempts are made to withdraw funds from your account you do not authorise them to do so and if the bank still pays out they have to refund your money, this was brought up in some of the other threads so hope this will help. since paying this the house phone and mobile have rung around the clock and i receive about 20 texts a day from foreign scum, apologies to the many honest and decent ones who may read this. In short im totally !!!!ed off and hope these scum get whats coming to them, baseball bat sideways where the sun dont shine with a bit of luck:mad:

Rather than feeling a right !!!!, perhaps take a read through this whole thread and you will know what you need to do to get a refund.
  • Scam Artists.

They ask for a fee up front before processing your loan. I asked them for confirmation by email of what was agreed, so far no eamail

The fact they asked for a fee up front should have been the telling sign to stay away.

What was agreed will be in the T&Cs on their website, which you agreed to when you gave them your card details.

Why would they bother responding to you - the website gave you 14 days to cancel in writing (have you done so?) and get a refund - if you don't do that in time then you've lost your money.
  • I would have to say SCAM
  • been scammed my friend... must be careful... SHARKS EVERYWHERE
  • I too was scammed by City Financial a year ago and still haven't got my money back. I have sent many letters asking for my £60 back (on recorded and signed for delivery).
I have called them many times numerous time without success eventually ending up speaking to a woman saying my letters were received and that they were in the process of refunding me. It has never happened. What's the next step to take apart for vistiting them in Stockport with a baseball bat?

The FOS might be worth a try, why did you not do something about it at an earlier point ?

Stop looking for loans from brokers, budget properly.
