I have payed £79.99 to this company and reading this has really worried me
You have lost £79.99 unless you are prepared to ask for it back.
There is no loan for you
You will receive many phonecalls and text messages, none of which will give you a loan but all of which will scam more money out of you.0 -

just an update on city financial I have reported them to the police using ACTION FRAUD I reckon the company will be well known looking at the amount of complaints about them but the more people that report them the better the change of them getting sorted.so go to the action fraud website and start your complaint takes about 20 mins might be an idea if the owners of this site make a link for it. keep any emails cf send u as evidence.hope im not out of order by naming a website on ere if I am im sorry just trying to help others.
I did exactly the same thing andi have reported them to trading standards and the financial ombudsman are dealing with it.
i suggest you report them too.. the more people report them the more likely you will get you money back and they may have the credit licence revoked.0 -

What did you report them for?
The only person who has done anything wrong here is you randomly entering your card details on websites without reading the T&Cs you agreed to.
Perhaps I should report you for being so stupid that you are a potential Darwin Awards winner.0 -
Scam company charging upfront loans?0

What the hell did you mean why did they report them...I have also reported them. They are the pathetic and small minded un-educated idiots thinking there amazing by illegally making money off people who trust them...0

Well, they're not really idiots, as they've come up with a quick and easy way to make quite a lot of money, and they aren't necessarily breaking any laws.
If anyone's been foolish then it's their customers, merrily handing over bank details, and then strangely trying to report them to the autorities rather than doing as they should, and writing to them for a refund.0 -
I am shocked to see posts on this company since 2008 and yet they are still trading.
I parted £79 the other day to this company and am still awaiting mt T&C's to send back to them. I stupidly looked the company up after parting with my money but was in a desperate situation.
I have reported these people on the fraud website and yet to hear back but judging by everyone's comments it doesn't look like anything is likely to come of it.
Has anyone managed to get their money back?? after calling back on the day i gave the money and chasing up the T&C's and he rudeness I was faced with I refuse to speak to these cold hearted people again.0 -

That will be because they've done nothing wrong legallyMangosun22 wrote: »I have reported these people on the fraud website and yet to hear back but judging by everyone's comments it doesn't look like anything is likely to come of it.
What fraud has occurred? They asked for your credit card details to bill you for your membership and you freely handed them over (unless someone from the company was sat next to you with a gun to your head).Mangosun22 wrote: »Has anyone managed to get their money back?? after calling back on the day i gave the money and chasing up the T&C's and he rudeness I was faced with I refuse to speak to these cold hearted people again.
The T&Cs will be on their website - go take a look and have a read through them (pity you didn't do so before agreeing to them) and they should tell you how to request a refund.0 -

Despite the warning you went right ahead and signed up.
Even now we are on page 9, you still can't work out how to get a refund?????0
