    £250 per month for fuel?

What are you driving? How many miles are you doing per month. Seems a bit high thats all

You should get away with it because you haven't mentioned electric/gas/council tax. Sometimes they will come and go with you on some of the figures if your high in one category and low in another. Really depends who you get.

I do 70 miles a day, 5 days a week, with an 11 yr old 1.3 petrol car. Public transport isn't practical due to bus / train times as I start work early and live 35 miles from work.

I have tried to find work closer, but unfortunately there's absolutely no jobs nearby.

My car is worth £700 max, and I've just spent over £300 in repairs, plus it's due its mot in July so thats why my car maintenance bit is quite high.

I live with my parents. The £360 I pay to them covers gas, electric, c/tax, phoneline, internet and tv / licence. I know £360 a month sounds a lot but it's low in comparison to me living on my own. I do buy most of my own shopping, due to dietary requirements it's just easier to buy my own.

Ok it's now been a week since I notified the AiB of my new salary, and not heard anything from them yet.

Is there an average timescale as to how long an IPA takes to be set up? With 5 weeks to go til discharge, I'm thinking constantly about whether today will be the day I'll hear from them.

I've been asked if I am able to do overtime at work, and I don't know whether to do it cause then it'll mess up my SOA that I've just sent to the AiB

Overtime is paid monthly in arrears, so the last thing I want is to start doing overtime in July, which will be paid in August, just after an IPA is set up. The AiB are great, but not so good at letting you know what's happening. Obviously they are so busy with applications etc but it's difficult to just sit back and wait.
It would be so nice to get some extra money just for me, so that maybe I could go a holiday for the first time in over a decade but it's just this waiting game that makes me feel nervous :(

are you not allowed overtime? one off kinda thing?

we are just BR and when we gave our trustee DH's wage slips he had overtime on one and we explained its not set/usual overtime, merely a one off and they were fine about this, and said they would disregard it.

Although we have a trustee outwith AIB (if that makes sense) and it was his money advisor we dealt with so i have never actually met my trustee (god its sounding complicated lol).

and you have had car repairs aswell so if asked it went towards that.

You're allowed overtime, but i'm worried about the timing of it all. I'm not not doing overtime cause I don't want it to go to an IPA, I just don't want it complicating matters.

Everything was so straightforward when I was only earning minimum wage, but now i've managed to earn a bit more it seems to have thrown everything up in the air for now :(
