A MASSIVE THANK YOU

I have just realised that this time just last month I was pretty much at rock bottom, contemplating a DMP with CCCS... I filled out all the paperwork and everything. Spent nights worrying myself sick with fear and not wanting to tell my wonderful boyfriend what a stupid mess I'm in.

This time this month I have:
  • Paid a massive £569.17 off of my debts (that's almost half my wage!)
  • Made an extra £218.22 from a second job and selling stuff on eBay
  • Slept like a log every night
  • Told my gorgeous BF the state I'm in - he's let me pay less rent (he earns over double my wage) and agrees he also needs to spend less
  • Changed my ideas on debt, spending money and saving it
  • Met some awesome people here who have literally changed my life!
THANK YOU SO SO MUCH :)

So if you're just starting out, remember it's scary but you can change it, it's not nice but you have made the first move, you're facing up to what you owe and you're on your way to being debt free

I have a long way to go but it's a great start :D

thanks guys, it really can be done quickly, especially if you just throw everything you have at it, I've just got the 3 bigguns left really now, still it's £7k's worth but we can get there, especially but making cut backs and savings, also by selling stuff you don't need.

Good luck Sparkley! I see this challenge like losing weight, you have to start somewhere, there will be slip ups and mistakes but if you try and get a quick fix it will come back and bite you on the bum so best to do what you can afford, when you can afford it and learn from the journey, it's not a race but it is a way of life!! hehe!!
