Can I just add... he took his willy out again. He didn't leave it in there! Good grief, no - that would be unhygienic.

If your going to pay to see a film your going to wnat to see it rather than text on her phone throughout the film.
She had probably been in the cinema all day - paying for one film and sneaking into other screens afterwards. It cheapens the experience of course, so if the experience is cheapened for her - why wouldn't she spend it on her phone?

Most people are scum these days. Sad but true. And yes, I am a bit of a misanthropist.

Aah, misanthropy :heart2:. The world would be a better place if there were no one else in it. *sigh*.

people putting their feet up (in shoes or not) really annoys me.
especially if it is some one behind you putting their feet on your chair. i tend to accidently on purpose knock their feet off with my elbows and they usually get the message.

I just tell them to be careful that none of my scalp scabs fall on thier feet as its VERY infectious ! :rotfl:
Amazing how quick they put them down !

True story - once when I went to the flicks with my mate, (he boy, me girl) he bought a big bag of pic 'n' mix, put a hole in the bottom, popped his willy in then asked me to dig in. I shrieked. It was very very funny.

    That's so funny!!

I once got so annoyed with people talking in the cinema I shouted at them "this is not a fcuking bus stop" !!

Sodding annoying people talk, text, eat noisily etc.

I eat any sweeties etc. I may have before the film commences or when there is any loud music bits.

Question is - was it a strawberry lace or a giant cola fizzy bottle?

    "You didn't. I did."

(Anyone know where that comes from?)

I'm another one who puts her feet up, sorry. Not if anyone is sitting within several seats in that row though, and you aren't putting your feet where people sit so I don't see a problem. You'd need legs about 5feet long to reach right round to the seats! I kind of squish my feet in to the gap at the back where the armrests are - more inbetween the seats - and no, my feet don't stick right through to where people put their arms.

I can't stand noise (other than really little kids) and phones though and I'm more than happy to tell people to be quiet or stop using their phones. I've yelled at one or two people in my time as well when they ignore being asked nicely!

I was mortified when OHs phone went off 3TIMES in one film, the idiot, he kept grabbing it and turning it off as quick as he could but for some reason forgot to then switch it right off, so it rang again...very embarrassing. Now I remind him to turn it off at the start.

I went to a midnight screening at my local Showcase and it was fab.

There was an usher there throughout the film with his infra-red/night vision goggles to make sure nobody was filming and he was telling people to put their feet down/turn their phones off.

On other occasions, I have hated going to the cinema now as people just sit in the back row talking or making stupid comments at the trailers, for example, a trailer had a squeaking bed noise and when it went quiet some teenager went "that's what my bed sounds like" out loud. Idiot
