Not been on for a few days, so have had loads to catch up on...what a chatty bunch!!!
Been busy invigilating again since Wednesday...had to report three lads on Wednesday for their bad behviour during an exam...and another set today - throwing of mouse USB to 5-pin plug thingy, (2" x 1" and made of metal and plastic), thankfully didn't hit anyone, would have been painful if it had! I can't get over how badly behaved some of these 16 - 18 year old boys are!!!! I would have loved to have given them a right dressing down...but Wednesday's fools were disciplined yesterday and I got a full and grovelling apology from their tutor.
Who says invigilating is boring!!! Have another four days inviglating next week, then I will be finished until August (yes, they are already lining me up for a couple of exams then!!). There are some exams in July, but I have to take my service break of one month and one week after being made redundant...2 weeks today, not long now!
I could head into our local Wilkos next week if you are still after some seeds Pippi...I did give you a link for Thompson & Morgan's half-price seed sale while back...just checked and there seems to be reduced seeds, but none at the 50% reduction. Loking through my collection...I seem to have two packets of Organic Falcorossa F1 toms...only 6 seeds per pack...but I got them for only 49p!!! Ofcourse the Seeds of Italy Franchi packets offer the best deals in price per seed costs especially for toms and peppers!!
Off to bed soon...shattered...still fighting DH & DS2's cold/throat/cough lurgy. I thought I was winning, but might be losing the battle tonight.
Night, night. Will pop in again over the weekend.
Looks like you will have the best of the weather this weekend Pippi...sun for you, more rain for us...makes a change!

Saw this and thought of you. More Margot than Barbara but good for a laugh. See what is written on the 'all weather shade' poor chookies would have a complex.
Make sure you are sitting down before you look at the price.
Just to make up for it : https://picasaweb.google.com/PatMac1940/Chickens#5619618004424750290
It's a Silver laced Wyandotte. We visited Wernlas Poultry a few weeks ago. Chookie heaven! It started as a hobby. But how can you know what you want till you get what you want and you see if you like it?0 -
Now last summer I caught the squirrel sat on my path munching its way through my strawberry's. Didn't mind too much, he looked happy. Between him and the birds I got left with about half a bowl.
This year he is back but has taken to eating half a strawberry and leaving the other half on the path  Is he on a diet? How do I stop him wasting them???:j Proud Member of Mike's Mob :j0 -
Maty, what a problem! Absolutely no idea of the solution, sorry!
Tricia, those eglu things are *incredibly* expensive, aren't they! But your photies are fantastic - they look like happy little (well, big) chooks. With lots of fluffiness2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
Those eglu things look tiny! I reckon Pippi's chickens would protest far too much being stuck in such a small space
What a problem indeed maty :rotfl: :rotfl: We've got a teenage blackbird who stands there brazenly munching my strawberries while I bang on the window :rotfl: :rotfl: Cheeky things!0 -
