I do that all the time, it's a wonder DD and I have any clothes to wear as they always seem to be out on the line! Hope today is a good celebration of the lady's life.0

GG you got it in one, they have protection
KK - yeah me too - and I hope so, she was 90+ and laterly not so active, but previously would have given any of us a run for her money

Hells bells! I'm a day behind you.
It's only the 17th down here. :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:But how can you know what you want till you get what you want and you see if you like it?0 -
Stupid stupid stupid question alert..........
Trees are made of wood, right (no, that's not the question, I'm not THAT dense :rotfl:). Why don't they rot in the ground then, the way fence posts do? Am guessing cos roots are alive & offer protection that way, but I have some old dead roots in my garden that are not rotting anywhere near as quickly as bits of wood.........
That's the most sensible question I have every heard - food for thought
You actually got me googling on that one and I am amazed. Apparantly poor tree health is of major concern accross the world!! (So not just obese brits then).
Apparantly they would decay but they have an 'immune system' and are quite capable of healing themselves if they are in good health. If not, they do begin to decay.

Pippi - the day was going so well, then you had to blaspheme and mention the I-R-O-N-I-N-G word0

I know, and me too, the world's anti-ironing campaign leader, hopefully I won't iron again this year, very bad for the environment ironing - that and linen trousers.
Red you're right - quite a fitting occasion to iron for :ATotal debt 26/4/18 <£1925 we were getting there.
