Gardening Stuff Mega-Cheap Prices at Tesco In-Store

Just got back, filled my trolley for £35. Thats fathers day sorted for grandad :T

I worked out what the glitch is..................It's scanning at the "save price" so when the yellow ticket says was £8 save £1 it's scanning for £1.

I price checked the BBQ that was £30 but it scanned at £28. So not sure about that.

darn was in tesco earlier and saw the 60p BBQ but did not venture to the garden isle, probably too late tomorrow, Inverness (retail Park) if anyone is around in the wee hours

Rushed out to a couple of tesco and stocked up
Not everything has the glitch but got the following
Tomorite 70p
toprose 65p
blood and bone 40p
tesco bug spray 45p
Growmore 40p
Pathclear gun 90p
garden kneeler 40p
small hand tools (trowel, fork) 60p
Pathclear sachets £1.70 (normally over £6)
One handed shears £1 (just realised i scanned these to check then forgot to buy them! doh!)

No Chimeneas at my store but managed to get:

2 tier flower fountain & stand 3.00

kids gardening tools 0.60

Plenty of stock in the York store the stock marked down in yellow stickers. Pity the large gardening tools not included.

Forgot to say, the correct sel appeared ot be in the gradening aisle, but in the promotional aisle i did see SEL for these prices, but with no stock on,

Drat, I was in Tescos tonight, but never looked at this stuff.
Too busy filling my trolly with loads of bedding plants - some only 8p, and all under 30p ( most for strips of 3 plants)
Huge racks full of them.... I didn't check the dates, but most just need a good watering.
I don't know if spring bedding is now being cleared, if they were outside sell by date, or they couldn't be bothered to water them!

Guess I will be busy tomorrow planting these all out.;)

I am sure I need some milk, so I will have to pop into Mr T's and casually check out the gardening aisle:whistle:

Just called at tescos for a few bits was looking at the b&q thing was £40 i scanned it and all the gardening stuff was normal price the lad on the till said it was cheap in the night but we have fixed the price now so no cheap stuff

thanks casp1997 was about to head out for a look, saved me a trip. had a look on t's website and things like tomorite and top rose it still showing at a cheap price 70p/60p, did you notice if these are also fixed in store.
