tesco mega glitch

  • Has anyone else heard anything about this? I'm after a chiminea, but I'm at work at the moment, with Tesco nowhere near, so I can't go and try my luck

The glitch there was instead of getting 20% off you got the item at something like 10%.

Unfortunately your a little late as the glitch was corrected yesterday. It appears things are now back to just 20% off. :(

Why the hell would the staff even care??? It's not coming out of their pockets. If I worked in Tesco my only concern would be sneaking off on a toilet break and phoning all my mates to alert them! :D :rotfl:

I got a call from a mate yesterday afternoon, got there just in time to pick up last few cases of Bud, the store manager just stood glaring at people !!!. As if he doesn't hate me as it is with all the DTD , meal deals, maybe it was the Cadax mini grill that I got for a £10 instead of £50 that upset him the most...............:rotfl:

I would feel sorry for Tesco as no business wants to see such a huge error and loss, but again reading the article on the story Tesco have taken to insulting their customers that have taken advantage of the offer, blaming their actions rather than admitting that they made a mistake. Apart from coming off rather bitter and peeing alot of customers off, they have just alienated customers more. No wonder people end up ripping the back end out of these glitches.

Was wandering around Tesco last night stockign up on gardening stuff selling at the discount price, rather than the discount being taken off. I looked over at the large plasma screen tellys that were £20 off and seriously considered scanning it and seeing if it came up for sale at £20 :rotfl:

After reading about this glitch too, i reckon i should have tried!

  • "Was casually chatting to my dad about the beer situation at Tesco mention 3 crates for 11 quid and he sprints to the car."...
    Love it !
Well done everyone who managed to get some.
Thankfully I don't drink beer, nor does anyone else in the house, so I don't feel at all left out.

    I love Tescos IT dept.:rotfl:
Anyone else remember the John Frieda 'glitch' where instead of 3 for 2, we got 3 products for £2
I still have dozens of bottles of hair products in the cupboards - enough to last a couple of years I should think, and got loads for family and friends.:)

yes the John Frieda glitch was brilliant and hilarious because tesco staff were using every trick in the "Tescoism" book to prevent anyone buying it..still got a loft full :T

Right in front of the board !!! Firmly planted, pointing out the sign ie read it out in a loud voice with a puzzled expression. Hopefully they will go bright read and start to waffle before giving you back DTD.

Is this the pricechecker dtd that's still being advertised or instore overcharging dtd?

If it's the instore one, then that is still running anyway.
